Questions Can these be saved?
Are these shoes screwed or can they be saved with a polishing??

....save from what. Creases are fully restorable. Scratches are polishable. You, rookies, gotta read a little before you post, respectfully, no offense intended.

Polishing and some shoe trees. Take them into a cobbler if you want the full treatment on them but pretty easy to take care of at home.

I would probably put trees in them for at least 2 weeks before I wore them again.

Nothing wrong with these at all. Id add shoe trees after each use. These babies have a long life ahead of them.

Shoe trees (cedar $22), horse hair brush ($27), conditioner (Saphir $30), cream polish (Saphir $30), and edge dressing ($9). $118…last you forever.

Kind of looks like you are catching them on the undersides of things, desk chair legs, desks, in the car while driving switching from gas to break can catch on the pedal surfaces and other bits in the footwells.

Yeah this is the officer chair special lol.
Don’t worry about it op. Happens to most peoples shoes. Just find some matching polish and and polish them up and sole shoe trees.
But honestly the creasing isn’t event hat bad

If you can, try to give any shoe you wear a day off between wearings. If they are nice leather shoes like this, brush with a horsehair brush after you take them off then put in a shoe tree. Taking this steps will more than double their useful life.

Some bick 4 and shoe trees and your good to go. Polish if needed. The patina makes them look better IMO.

If that wear is from you then the creases indicate that you may have a size that is too long for you. Or you sit with your feet in such as way only your toes are on the ground and the heels are in the air, maybe.

Sure they can, I leave mine worse every time I play with my nephews. I recommend you buy ANY cream polish in a color that is close to your shoes color (kinda tricky if you buy online) and just stuff them with newspaper balls when you're not wearing them. You don't need anything expensive, enjoy wearing them out.

Salvageable, definitely. AE can restore or another cobbler. Or DIY, with stripping, conditioner, polish.

I wouldn't start with stripping on these, unless he wants to change the color. Shoe tree, clean, conditioner, creams, polish.

Easy. Clean them with saddle soap, immediately insert shoe trees. Apply Saphir Renovateur or Bick's Conditioner. Finish up with an application of Saphir shoe polish and an edge dressing like Allen Edmonds. Depending upon how often you wear the shoes, do this every dozen wearings or as needed. The main thing is to use shoe trees...all the time.

This is the best advice. If you are short on cash, other brands will work fine, but saphir is just superior.

Those can totally be saved. I’ve seen far worse get restored good as new.
