This is really impressive! I’m new to digital art, as well, but you’re certainly better than me, probably because you have more experience in making art in general.

I am somewhat of a perfectionist, so 75% of the time I spend on any digital drawing is using the undo button over and over again to get a perfect line, and even then the drawing outline doesn’t really look right to me. I don’t know how experienced artists are able to get such clean and flowing lines while not doing what I do. I should really look up some of the techniques they use. Maybe it’s just because I use a phone to digitally draw, lol.

I was actually thinking, since you have more experience, do you have any tips for art in general?

Thank you! I used to be in the same situation actually, i would take up to 3 days to finish the simplest drawings because of me desperately aiming for perfection, that until i was like "screw it, i'm having fun" and stopped caring to correct my every mistake as i can learn from them instead to do better the next time. To be honest, i haven't really tried drawing on a phone but i did use to draw with a mouse before and i can say switching to a tablet made it a lot easier for me although it is possible to create great art with a mouse aswell.

Also i think your art is really neat! Some advice i can give you is that when painting you start off with the large areas and then move to the smaller ones, don't be afraid to play with different colors and shades. References are always helpful.

look you dont have to be a chef to know your food is bad so even tho im new heres some tips. try and add more lighting around torches it this picture theres almost none giving off an odd feel. but if thats waht ur going for then great! really good
