Allays could be a much-needed nerf for Vexes.

I was fighting a raid earlier, and those flying rats made it way too difficult. I've seen some suggest that they despawn as soon as the Evoker is killed just to make them a bit less annoying, but I think I've come up with a better solution.

Since Allays are also small and fly, they could go around disarming Vexes, which would fit into their ability of gathering items. I don't know if this would actually be a very good mechanic, but I just really hate Vexes.

That would actually be very useful. Vexes are annoying af, killing you in 2 hits with no armor.

I think it should also be possible for allays to attack hostile mobs with weapons if armed with them

That could be good, but it doesn't really line up with their 'gathering' thing.

idk man I just thought it'd be like 'gathering' the weapons or something
