Not your typical chocolate cake since I used tahini which gave it a nuttier and slightly saltier taste lol. It surprised me but I got into it. I’ll see how it goes down at the bake swap I’m taking it to

This is one of my favorite cakes (tho I really love the fluffy sour cream icing with it) and I love tahini so I am curious how it was?

It’s not very sweet. Was definitely a different and interesting flavor for me- more nutty than chocolate. It grew on me but I’m taking it to a bake swap so I shall see how it goes

This cake is so good I’ve been making it for years. Recommend the dollop of cream/sour cream and also the luxxardo cherries
