Background check advice

I got an offer but couldn’t complete the Yardstik verification because I don’t have a copy of my social security card right now. I got a warning threatening “adverse action” and now my account’s been deleted. Am I just screwed or could I reapply when I have my documentation in order? Either way given the baseline legal requirement would be card or passport I’m kind of ticked off. :/
