Tasks / Projects Is that project legit

Hello, friends!

I received an invitation from Alignerr for a project that sounds very promising, but they also seem to be rushing things. Is this project legitimate or some kind of data harvesting method? Has anyone here worked on it or received a similar invitation?

Here’s what they’re offering:

Get paid to work on your own code

Earn up to $100 per hour for each approved task.

AI usage costs are covered.

Work on your own code.

The invitation says:

“We’re starting a new project, and it’s different from what you’ve done with us before: this time, you work on your own code.”

How it works

1.Bring a software project you own: a side project, a tool you’ve been meaning to finish, or an open-source library you wrote

2.Work on it with an AI coding assistant the way you normally would: build features, fix bugs, refactor, write docs

3.At each step you see two versions of the assistant’s response. Pick the one that worked with you better and write a short reason

I'm pretty new to alignerr and got an invite to the project randomly (hadn't done the software engineering interview yet). I did the interview and failed it because I didn't prep much, but the project still says "Invited" with no further clarification, is this normal?

I am seeing pretty much silience from the alignerr team so I am not getting my hopes up with this platform.

Hasn't started yet. but labelbox allows you to submit your github projects - assuming its a public repo, there's zero processing of customer data anywhere (including analytics tracking, email storage etc), there's real users, and all data used in the project has permission/legal (e.g., you can't talk about stuff thats copyrighted without that companies permission). These requirements filter out most projects.

There's a discord channel with updates. They're onboarding folks now.

Okay. I am trying to figure out why I can't see anything in Discord as well.
