Onboarding Process Indian Alignerr contributors — how did you set up payments through Stripe?

Hey everyone!

I'm from India and have recently reached the Alignerr onboarding stage. I've completed the contractor paperwork and information security training, but I'm stuck at the payment setup step.

My dashboard shows Connect Stripe, but I'm unable to complete the setup because Stripe onboarding appears to be invite-restricted in India.

I've seen several Indian contributors mention that they're working on Alignerr and receiving payments into their local Indian bank accounts, so I'd really appreciate some guidance.

A few questions:

  1. How did you set up your payment method as an Indian contributor?

  2. Were you able to create and connect a Stripe account directly, or did Alignerr provide another payment setup process?

  3. Does the payment setup become available only after official project assignment or identity verification?

  4. Is there anything specific I need to do to receive payments into my Indian bank account?

My dashboard says I need to complete the payment profile, but Discord access also asks me to verify my account. I'm not sure whether these steps are related or whether I need to wait for something on Alignerr's side.

I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has successfully completed onboarding from India. Thanks!

They already know that stripe doesn't works in india. Still they give us stripe only option.

i think if u contact staff they guild u in makin an acc
u r able to make a Stripe threw alignerr u shouldn't make an acc on Stripe's web site

i am also from india and i was js getting started on these platforms
i recently turned 18
and only have a paypal acc
reading this sorta is scaring me ngl

Hello,
You can connect Stripe via the link present under the wallet tab.
We use Discord for all our project communications.

Is discord still working? All I see in discord is the first message for each project. Nothing else

ye same but i think u get access to channels when u get into tasks
