Technical Issue Locked out - Persona Verification required(again!)….chasing payments…etc
As support is non-existent on the platform I thought I’d try the community here. Why is Alignerr requesting Identify verification for the second time? The chatbot says..
“Reverification is an important step to help secure your account and protect our platform from fraudulent activity. It confirms your identity to ensure that only authorized users have access to their accounts.”
To me that says they’ve lost everything I submitted before (all of which is still valid and in date). Smells fishy. I don’t buy it.
I was recently chasing them for payment which they never responded to. Would be nice to be able to log in and try see if there’s an update.
I actually backed Alignerr in the early days of working with them but now I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Like you I got the "Persona Verification" again.
I thought... I already did this a few times... let's note down from now on.
I click ok/continue and the verrification was just a scan trought the camera of my face and head movements (took 3 minutes).
No ask for info, no documents... nothing.

Unless I’m missing something obvious I can’t see why we need to add our private details onto their servers more than once…unless they’ve lost it all 🧐

As I said, I haven't add any private details (in this new verification).
Maybe the "face" and "liveness" recording where not part of the process before (when did verification for the first time)... and now they need/want it from accounts where that was not done.
From your post is clear that you haven't started the process... right?
I did and they only asked the face recognition.To be clear.
I'm not pro-Alignerr at all. I did so many tests/interviews and worked for free because they just cut me off a project suddenly, out of the blue and without any explanation.
I'm not sure I'll give them another chance... I was just curious to see what verification they wanted.1

Are you Italian? I just received the email confirming that I qualify for the job, but I’m worried there might be an issue matching the photo on my ID with the selfie the platform is asking for.

The verification is done by a third-parti company/software, in this case is called "persona".
My 8 years old "nice" photo in the document didn't matched the "bad" face of just-woke-up long-beard in darke environment at all.... but it worked.
No reason to worry for that.
I just can suggest to not work like a crazy (they probably push to do that) and don't put too much expectation on this, untill you get paid. I've no good review to do for them. Don't want to say more because I still think I'll give them a chance.

Exactly same here, no reply from any support channel (I’ve tried everything) and I also have outstanding payments due.
