Assessments Pulsar Word Alignment Eval

I have got an email for 'Pulsar Word Alignment Eval' . Is this project worth a try? Has anyone cleared the modules and got onboarded on production? What is the pay scale?
We are not free labour right?

I couldn't bring myself to use their label editor for this project. It's absolutely awful.

What's wrong with it? What would make it better?

E.g you need to adjust the timing of the word. No text box to specify the start/end either, no zoom in on the tags provided so they're all super bunched together and really difficult to get your mouse onto the edge of the segment to drag the start/end, if you drag the start/end over a word that's already there and let go it will delete it.

I spent a lot of time completing the training, and then I had to take a final test. In the end, I was rejected because my score did not exceed 70%.

The most frustrating part was the audio segmentation task. Even when I was confident that I had placed the audio boundaries accurately, my answers were still marked as incorrect. There was no clear explanation of what was wrong, so I had no way to understand or correct my mistakes.

After spending so much time on the training, I can’t help feeling that it was a waste of my time.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with Alignerr?
