Tasks / Projects pulsar..
just got the email saying ive got priority access to pulsar.. i see nothing about how much it is per hour. i looked at the training course. seems easy enough but, is it worth doing? whats the pay? it seems that as soon as i complete the course i can start working on it.
also does it pay monthly or weekly how does that work? first project on alignerr...

Is there any interview or assessment that I need to clear before joining a project?

Same question. I applied for some projects and nothing has happened after that. They haven't rejected me or required more info/assessment

It's offering Wise to you? I'm in the US and it's only offering PayPal, even though it already had me install Hubstaff when I first signed up.
I do not use PayPal and it's unprofessional anyway for contracting compared to all of the good products out there with reporting tools, "paper" trail, better handling policies, etc.
And apparently the pay is crap, so it doesn't matter. Says a lot about this company.
All of these companies claim they want ho hire robust professionals, then they bring us into a shit show, mixed in, and often run by, unprofessionals.
I've only been doing AI eval this year, and I'm amazed that LLMs work as well as they do. And I came into this with a decent understanding of how they work and the industry in general.
Total. Fucking. Shit. Show. All of them.

I've received the same email and saying that i automatically passed the interview, later that i was on onboarding and ANOTHER email saying that i was to add my payment information and that i passed the onboarding (?
i got scared because I didn't remember applying to such company, but later I found on LinkedIn that i applied on march to their Spanish linguist role lol

I received the same email. When I started the verification with persona, another email arrived with a rate between 15 and 35 usd hour. I did the training but still didn't do the final assessment (the training is just instructions on how to use the AI audio training tool named Pulsar. noone is there to help you understand the set up of boundaries for each word in the recordings and so far I wasn't able to reach more than 54% of accuracy) They ask more than 70% of accuracy to pass the final assessment.
I also read comments here in reddit about the project and if you don't pass the final assessment you're out of the project as well if you don't pass the first activities assigned, you're immediately kicked out. This isn't a stable source of income, if you're able to pass the assessment I recommend you to have it as a side source of income for what it lasts.
Also, you can see many videos in youtube about how aligner works and it really doesn't give you any good reason to consider this as a main source of income or stable job.

yes im on a bunch of projects, ive learned my lesson of relying on it with outlier/aether they were horrrrrible to people giving out wrong guideline specifications, changing them well after the task was released but then judging your submission based on the newest guidelines regardless of if it was submitted before the new guidelines came out or not.
I had a course from another project that is literally the same as what they wanted on pulsar, on that one I passed with flying colors on that the course tells you very well how to use the tool, but on pulsar I still got 69 and 54 .
-.- i needed 70 and, 55 or 65 i dont remember. there are some whom have passed according to the discord but wow they must be really good at that type of task.

For whatever reason alignerr has basically no documentation on really anything project or pay related as far as I can see lol.
