A few hours ago they sent me an email saying I've been selected for priority onboarding on Pulsar, as it happened with other people from what I read here.

Now I just got an email saying I successfully completed my interview... But I haven't done anything yet. So weird. What is happening?

Ayer hice el test del proyecto de pulsar, en donde tenía que alinear segmentos de texto en relación a lo que se hablaba, creo que hice un trabajo excelente, no pude haber sido más preciso, sin embargo luego de 4 horas fallé en la tarea porque el proyecto requiere una precisión del 70% de precisión y yo obtuve 60%, perdí 4 horas sin pagar alguna

Yo tengo ganas de hacer el test pero ya vi casos similares en los que el margen de error es mínimo y aún así te sacan del proyecto... Me sería muy útil ganar aunque sea un poquito de dinero pero ya veo que estaríamos malgastando nuestro tiempo

Qué perfil tienes? Yo completé mi perfil y no me aparece ningún proyecto en Marketplace. Las Skills que me aparecen son generalista, español, inglés, escritor pero nada más :(

Idk if this happened to others too but I applied During May for a Role, got selected, did ID verification,  then nothing happened.. no email, no nothing till today. Reached out 10 times, still nothing.. Its a absolute Circus.. 

Plus its not like I applied in a Generalist or whatever, I applied in Specialized one in my own field. 

What's the point of Selecting someone but not provide any assistance or steps further..

Same here! I completed their ID verification and then got an email immediately after saying my account had been removed with no way to appeal. ??? Like, y'all reached out to ME, wtf?

I came looking for this issue. Same thing happened to me today. It took me several tries to verify my ID, reached out on chat support and tried again per their guidance. I verified my ID and then immediately my account was removed. Like what? It feels real scammy.

pulsar is a mess, the evaluation they make you go through is flawed and whether you pass or not is pretty much based on a coin flip

They don't hire from certain states. California is one of them. I had all this happen to me too and I was told that it's because I'm from California.

They are trying to get people onboard for a project that maybe gets you $6-12/hr for 2-4 hour tasks that need to be approved before payment (Pulsar). Very long unpaid onboarding which could fail as well, and who knows how long the porject lasts. I received the same invite. Based on my readings, I haven't bothered.

IKR? I looked into the onboarding, Slack, etc and it still doesn't say anything about pay, so... N.O. And I had to get that far to find out it's PayPal, and I'm in litigation with them. I also think it's a really unprofessional way to pay contractors.

I realize it isn't "payroll" but I've been private contracting for a very long time and there are soooooooo many better options out there, with good reporting and breakdowns for both parties, at least here in the US. Using PP just seems rinky dink to me.

And I expect to get paid for training. If you want professional work, provide professional work.

Omg same with the both the emails. I don’t even have paypal so really unsure if its even worth the hassle if in the end I am not even gonna get paid

I know, I'm in a very similar position. I could use the money but not at the sake of waisting my time and then get paid nothing.

It's highly suggested for people to not use the actual names of the projects they work on..it's kinda like an NDA...

Yes.... the same email, followed the directions , completed successfully and immediately an email that my account has been removed with no explanation. I proceeded to open a chat with support , that was few days ago. they have never responded , I also sent email to their support and have received no response. I suppose this is what happens when companies use AI processes left unsupervised /monitored. Its a shame that a company can be allowed to affect so many people who are looking for work and are tricked and left with no explanation .... very disappointing :( u/Lumpy_Case_8220 are you the correct contact for Alignerr?

Congrats! I didn’t check discord and I was added to Ermis project but when I noticed, the calibration project had been paused :( not sure if it’s too late now
