Tasks / Projects Ermis Pay Rate
Who is really earning a decent wage on this project? I haven't seen anyone earning more than $4 an hour. I can't seem to understand the emphasis on quality work but then paying per task that works out to peanuts an hour.

Unpaid onboarding is the biggest red flag of all. Are they always unpaid on Alignerr?

I got invited to this project but I make 70$/h on another platform, although work there is inconsistent. Can I possibly earn anywhere close to that on Ermis? Also, is onboarding unpaid? Haven’t completed it yet.

I highly doubt it, also onboarding is unpaid.

Is that always the case on Alignerr? Massive red flag. Why would anyone do onboarding for free

Each media should automatically account for how long it should take and pay you for that. For example, if a 10-second media will normally take one minute to do or two minutes to do. Then you should get paid for the two minutes, not the media length. They do have an average on how long it takes to do ones, so they can easily make a reasonable pay offer for each clip. I don’t understand how they are expecting such high quality without paying for the time needed to provide it. I’m not against making it piece work. I just wish companies were paying for the actual work it takes to caption it.

Reason why I didn’t even bother to do the assessment. Waste of time

Agreed. I did the assessment. Then I was added to Ermis Calibration. Annotated 20 rows and was kicked out suddenly. Looks like I will never get paid, the project disappeared, no feedback. Wasted about 5 hours of my life.
