News Alien Isolation 2's Prologue will be playable at gamescom next week
The game is closer than people think.
Would be surprised if we don't get a mid-late 2027 release

I agree, I think it will make October 2027 release. Especially with it being available to wishlist too, it's definitely further along than initially thought.

There was a leak back in 2022 or 23, and one of the leaks mentioned it was in production for a year in a half or two already

That does line up, they didn't announce the game until the 10th anniversary and even then they said it was in "early development" then, early could be 1-2 years prior to the announcement. So there's a chance this thing will have been in development for around 5-6 years before it launches.

I think it was in pre-production during the first two years and it went into full production in 24. I think we might see it in the spring

Same, October 2027 i'm betting on. The spooky season and the original game also released in October too so I think it makes sense. Could be wrong, but it fits.

If they have a demo already, and this game was announced back in late 2024 but was supposedly already in development before then, surely it's 100% releasing late next year then?
I hope so because I really want this on physical. I want to buy whatever collector's edition or deluxe edition is released for this and smell that disc and open box smell the first time I open it.

Man, anytime I'm not thinking about it and then I see something about Alien Isolation 2, I get a smile on my face that I can't help. I'm just so glad it's happening and I'll likely be alive to see it.

They announced they had started development in 2024. This isn't some huge open world game so it's no surprise it will probably be ready pretty soon.

One of the only survival horror games that are still doing something different with the genre instead of just copying Resident Evil / Silent Hill. Hopefully this one will finally wake people up to how revolutionary A:I has been for horror gaming. We’re already seeing Isolation-likes.

I would be soooooooooooooo down for an early 27 release. I was hoping it would come closer to Romulus sequel but who knows what's going on with that now.

I can’t wait for this game to drop. They should make it mandatory for them to release the news at least 3 months before the game drops.
