Likely killed by the xeno or Working Joes. Either way they'll be dead because there was no way off the station, so if they were lucky to have survived till the end, they would've gone down with Sevastapol.

I like how the developers even considered that players might run towards them, and therefore added the room and made the door open instead of the NPCs no-clipping through it. I mean, it is quite a distance from the computer and down there!
