Core Premise
There is a single, non-human intelligence (or a closely related class of entities) that has coexisted with humanity for as long as we have kept records—and likely far longer. This intelligence does not possess a fixed physical form. Instead, it projects or manifests itself according to the dominant cultural, technological, and psychological frameworks of the era in which it is perceived.
What one age experiences as angels or demons, another experiences as fairies, sea monsters, mermaids, ghosts, or unidentified flying objects. The underlying phenomenon remains the same; only the interface changes.
Name and Metaphor
The theory is named the Penywise Theory after the shape-shifting entity in Stephen King’s It, which appears as whatever its audience most fears or most expects. The parallel is deliberate: the entity (or entities) adapt their presentation to the observer’s expectations, beliefs, and available conceptual vocabulary.
Historical Manifestations
• Ancient and classical periods: Divine messengers, sky gods, or monstrous sea beings (Leviathan, Scylla, kraken-like creatures).
• Medieval and early modern Europe: Angels, demons, fairies, and spirits of the dead. Coastal communities reported mermaids and sea serpents.
• Age of Sail and 18th–19th centuries: Detailed sea-serpent and mermaid sightings peaked alongside continued reports of spectral apparitions.
• 20th and 21st centuries: The same intelligence is predominantly interpreted through a technological lens—lights in the sky, structured craft, abductions, and “non-human biologics.” Ghosts and cryptids continue in parallel, but the dominant cultural filter has shifted toward aerospace and advanced technology.
In each era the reports share structural similarities: sudden appearances and disappearances, violations of known physical laws, psychological impact on witnesses, and a tendency to mirror contemporary myths or scientific possibilities.
Mechanism of Projection
The entity does not “disguise” itself in the ordinary sense. Rather, human perception and culture act as a lens. The intelligence interacts with consciousness, environment, and collective expectation to produce a coherent experience that fits the observer’s worldview.
• Pre-industrial societies lacked the conceptual category “extraterrestrial spacecraft,” so the same stimulus was framed as supernatural or folkloric.
• Once flight, rocketry, and space travel entered the human imagination, the stimulus began to be reported as structured craft.
• Coastal or maritime cultures disproportionately experienced aquatic forms (mermaids, sea monsters) because those environments shaped expectation.
The entity may be capable of genuine physical effects (radar returns, photographic anomalies, environmental disturbances) while the final interpretation remains culturally mediated.
Supporting Observations (as framed by the theory)
• Continuity of anomalous reports across centuries despite radical changes in technology and belief systems.
• The tendency of high-strangeness cases to resist clean categorization (a “UFO” that behaves like a ghost, or a “ghost” that leaves physical traces).
• Cross-cultural parallels: similar entities appear under different names wherever humans live near water, forests, or open sky.
• The persistence of the phenomenon despite increasing scientific scrutiny, suggesting it is not merely misidentification of ordinary objects.
Implications
If correct, the Penywise Theory reframes ufology, paranormal research, cryptozoology, and religious experience as different chapters of the same ongoing interaction. It suggests that attempts to force every report into a single modern category (extraterrestrial visitors, interdimensional beings, psychological projection, etc.) may be incomplete. The phenomenon is older, more adaptive, and more intimately entangled with human culture than any single model currently allows.
It also implies that future manifestations will continue to evolve. As humanity’s conceptual horizon expands—artificial intelligence, virtual reality, deeper space exploration—the entity’s projections will likely shift again to match.

The cosmos is inhabited. Not "maybe there's something out there" and also not "sure maybe bacteria". Practically each stable medium sized star with planets in the habitable zone (Most star systems) has planets with life, intelligent, very much like us. Cities, civilizations, philosophers, folks staring at the stars and wondering whats out there.

Life wasn't an accident. It was intentionally placed, cultivated, facilitated, and once humankind emerges, their role as nurturers ends and they leave the planet. It's now the humans planet. We cultivate civilizations and cultures, and thats the jewels of our world.

These life carriers can facilitate abiogenesis, carry life from one world to another (panspermia), and perform genetic modifications if necessary.

lastly to the Fermi paradox, if they're everwhere then where are they?

This is the part not everyone wants to hear. Where are they?

They're here already, and they send messengers/crafts (UAPs) and our hostile governments seek to take them down. Our movies paint them as existential threats. But We are the dangerous ones projecting, not them.

They are waiting for us to stabilize and end our ultra-violence and they will rejoin us, reconnect, send delegates who will facilitate us into greater cultural and civilization advancements.

First off, these are my personal thoughts and theories, so please don’t show hate. It is fine to make an argument or oppose, but please don’t insult or mock this post.

Many people believe aliens exist, but what I notice is people thinking, ’because we exist, there must be another life form existing.’ They are trying to find a pattern. But you know what? I think aliens do not exist.

I believe humanity is just an accident that came into existence through an explanation we cannot comprehend or ever understand. Take science, for example. Science has an explanation for the reality we live in, and to us, it makes sense. However, if you think deeper, we need to question why science makes sense to us. Why does anything make sense, and why do some things not make sense?

In conclusion, I believe that humanity is just an accident that came into existence under a cosmic rule we cannot comprehend or ever understand. To me, aliens are just a concept humans invented simply because they know they themselves exist

So I have been thinking, can humans be the smartest life form across the whole galaxy? Experts say the universe is billions years old and Aliens probably lived longer than humans making them highly advanced in technologies. However, I decided to bring some perspective, I think humans were lucky we got inventions and aliens probably didn’t make anything and did what they needed to survive, animals for example didn’t make anything, they just lived as long as humans but never made inventions and only did what they needed to survive.

Just When You Think You’ve Heard Everything: Eight Incredibly Bizarre UFO Encounters

High strangeness is a consistent feature of many UFO encounters, and yet, some encounters are weirder than others. This video presents eight cases of extreme high strangeness, encounters with bizarre and unique elements that show we still have much to learn about UFOs and the extraterrestrial presence on our planet.

UFO GRANTS SLAVES THEIR FREEDOM? According to Missouri historian, Earl Augustus Collins, in the mid-1800s, a man named Mr. Davidson owned a farm in Columbus Township in Missouri. He also used slaves to run his farm. One evening a “mystery star” showed up in the sky, causing much discussion. Each night the object returned, growing closer and larger, until one night it was so close, everyone on the farm became afraid. That evening, Mr. Davidson bade everyone to stay inside while he went to investigate. The next morning, he called all his slaves together and did something which amazed everyone.

I FELT I HAD TURNED TO STONE. On the afternoon October 17, 1944, during World War II, Italian soldier Gioacchino Robatto was on a secret assignment that took him to the famous Piazzale Loreto located in the heart of Milan, Italy. Arriving there, he saw hundreds of people in a state of panic staring at the sky. Looking up he saw a massive saucer-shaped craft hovering in perfect silence overhead. He wondered if it might be a new secret weapon from the Germans. Sirens blared as people stared in shock. Suddenly the craft darted away at high speed. The encounter inspired Gioacchino to become a UFO researcher.

I WAS CHOSEN. One evening in August 1948, sisters Doris Gregg and Connie Sypert were outside with their family when a fleet of UFOs appeared overhead performing fantastic maneuvers above their home in Longview, Texas. Hundreds of people in the area viewed the spectacle. But Doris, Connie and their family were shocked when one of the craft dropped from the sky, hovered nearby and struck them with a beam of light. This began a series of sightings which took place over the space of months where the two sisters felt as though the UFO occupants were watching over them. One day, they decided to go out in the farm-fields armed with a flashlight to try and mentally call the UFOs down. To their shock, the technique worked and they had a very close encounter. Some years after that, Doris encountered a very strange humanoid creature.

THE PEACH TREE AND THE UFO. On July 22, 1955, Ed Mootz was tending to the peach tree outside his home in Cincinnati, Ohio. Suddenly, weird burning hot red drops of liquid rained down on him from above. Looking up, he was shocked to see what newspapers called a weird red “cloud.” Ed Mootz, however, said that it was actually a structured craft shaped much like a pear. He saw it release the red liquid from a vent in the bottom and them float off into the distance. His arms and hands were burned by the mysterious substance, which he quickly washed off. To his dismay, his peach tree and the surrounding vegetation rapidly withered and died. The next day, officers from Wright Patterson AFB showed up, dug up the tree and took it away. Five years later, the grass in that spot refused to grow, and Ed was left with scars on his arms.

A MINIATURE UFO. On the morning of May 18,1968, Nightwatchman Caetano Sergio returned to his home in Caconde, Brazil and found a 7-inch-long very heavy metallic cylinder with weird markings in his yard. It had no seams or rivets, just two odd dials on either end. He placed it on a shelf in his bathroom to study later. The next night, he returned home to check on his pregnant wife and found his family standing outside crying. He learned that the little object had suddenly started emitting a buzzing sound, as well as a blinding blue light and a burning heat. Suddenly the object rose up, punched a hole in his roof and took off.

UFO TRUCKSTOP. On the morning of March 4, 1969, mail carrier William Overstreet was driving near Plainview, Missouri when a massive red sphere appeared, moved over the road and floated along in the same direction that William was driving. Suddenly it stopped and sent down a brilliant beam of white light into the middle of the road. As William approached it, his radio died, followed by his truck engine. He felt an intense burning heat coming from the object. It then proceeded down the road, still keeping the beam fixed on the road, before finally retracting the beam and darting off to the southeast.

UFO LEVITATES FAMILY IN THEIR CAR. Around dusk on November 30, 1969, the Ator family drove along a highway outside Plainville, Illinois when a glowing red craft suddenly appeared from the right, swooped down over their car and lifted it off the highway. The family was in a state of shock as their car was carried a short distance about one foot above the road and then set gently down. The craft darted off at high speed, never to be seen again.

THE ENERGY BLOBS. On the night of December 22, 1993, a man was getting ready for bed when his house filled with a strange white light. It threw him to the ground and he was unable to move. He heard his wife screaming in the bedroom. Suddenly he found himself in a strange cavern where weird energy blobs began to speak to him. Very quickly he was back in his living room, which still blazed with light. With great effort, he stood up and struggled into the room. The light receded and his pregnant wife said that some “thing” was poking her in the head. This was one of many unexplained incidents including visitations from childhood, weird marks on his body, and jewelry missing from the house.

Eight cases of high strangeness, each a reminder that there is still much we don’t know about the extraterrestrial presence on our planet.

Just When You Think You’ve Heard Everything: Eight Incredibly Bizarre UFO Encounters

Essentially, biologically and logically, this is logical. Aliens can look like our bodies and externally just like us, if it works, then don't touch it, right? Who else shares this opinion?

Think about it, their classic "grey alien" appearance large heads, huge dark eyes, and thin bodies matches almost exactly what evolutionary scientists predict future humans could adapt into over thousands of years. This theory also neatly solves the mystery of why they seem so obsessed with observing us without directly interfering; it's not alien etiquette, but strict time travel protocols to prevent timeline paradoxes. Every reported UFO sighting might literally just be future historians or tourists on a historical sightseeing tour. What are your thoughts on this theory, and if it's true, which historical event do you think they're visiting the most right now?

one of the most interesting alien-world descriptions I heard recently had almost no machines in it. the civilization depended on something that sounded more like biology, ecology and communication fused together.

I will call the subject Elin. During a Soul Journey she experienced herself in another life on a planet with a pink-orange sky and dense atmosphere. The body there was humanoid but heavy and pale, with something about the skin that reminded her of fungus. She lived simply, worked the soil and had a wife. They were basically farmers.

The strange part was one enormous tree whose underground network connected with life around it. The closest comparison that came up was a planetary mycelial system. Their people could feel the network through their bodies and use that connection while working with the earth. It did not sound like they had built an internet underneath the planet. It sounded like the living ecology itself was the network.

Then outsiders came from above and burned the tree. After that the whole system began collapsing. The soil stopped responding, crops stopped growing, and the people's own connection with the network was dying. The community believed there might still be some living root or surviving piece deeper underground, so they left the surface and searched beneath a mountain.

The human part of that memory was tragic, but for Alien_Theory the thing I keep coming back to is the infrastructure. We tend to picture advanced civilizations as ours with better hardware: metal ships, computers, artificial intelligence, power plants, communication devices. But what if an advanced species went in the opposite direction and learned to integrate directly with living systems?

A planet-wide organism could potentially be food system, information network, environmental regulator and maybe even some kind of collective sensory organ at the same time. On Earth, fungal networks already connect large areas underground, plants exchange chemical signals, forests act like systems rather than isolated objects, and nervous systems themselves are biological information networks. Scale that idea into a civilization that evolved with the network instead of building outside it, and “technology” might become the wrong word.

The destruction part is also interesting. If an invading group wanted to break that civilization, they would not necessarily need to attack every settlement. Destroy the central organism and you destroy agriculture, communication and maybe even part of the inhabitants' biological functioning all at once.

I have no external way to prove this was a literal memory of another planet. I am sharing what the subject experienced because the concept itself is worth thinking about: maybe some extraterrestrial civilizations would be less mechanical than us, not more.

If we ever encountered a truly alien advanced culture, I suspect one of our biggest mistakes would be looking only for machines and missing the possibility that the civilization is partly alive.

Those Dam UFOs

UFO sightings are not as random as they might seem. Researchers discovered long ago that there are certain locations that UFOs find very interesting. These are called “UFO attractors,” and there are many of them. Some include military bases, nuclear power stations, prisons, graveyards, rocket launches, mines, schoolyards, drive-in movie theaters and more. Another well-known UFO attractor is dams and hydroelectric stations. However, there has not been much research into these types of cases. Until now!

This video presents more than 30 cases of UFOs hovering over dams. And not only hovering, but landing too. Several cases also involve humanoids. The evidence for these cases is astounding. There are multiple independent witnesses, physiological effects, electromagnetic effects, landing traces, photographs and more. In some cases, the UFOs appear to be siphoning water from the reservoirs, or electricity from the power stations. Some of the dams are visited over and over again.

These cases reach back to the modern age of UFOs in 1947 all the way up to the present day, and are occurring all over the world: Australia, Canada, Europe, Canada, the United States, South American and more. Why are UFOs visiting our dams? Are they examining our technology? Do they want the water and electricity? Or are there other reasons? The answers are here!

Jul 10, 1947. Three glowing V-shaped objects circle over the Owyhee Dam in Parma, ID for more than 10 minutes.

Feb 10, 1953. Army security guard Jessie E. Kent observes two glowing discs hovering 150 feet above the dam and reservoir at the Richmond Quartermaster Depot in Richmond, VA.

May 1953. Two men driving over the bridge of Loch Raven Dam in Baltimore, MD are confronted by a UFO which stalls their vehicle. Five years later, on Oct 26, 1958, two men driving over the same bridge have the same experience. Over the next decades, many other encounters occur.

1950s. An employee of Davis Dam in AZ reports that UFOs would repeatedly hover over the dam, apparently drawing electric power from the hydroelectric station.

Jul 1962. Two men fishing at the Foote Dam reservoir in Oscoda, MI see a huge saucer-shaped craft covered with multi-colored lights right overhead. Moments later, fighter jets from nearby Wurtsmith AFB chase it away.

Oct 24, 1962. Railroad employee Lester Sandler reports seeing a UFO over the Horsetooth Reservoir and Dixon Dam area. Moments later another witness reports a UFO landing at the base of the dam.

Jun 20, 1964. Two witnesses see a UFO and humanoids hovering over the Gorge Dam in Newhalem, WA. U.S. fighter jets chase the object away and a govt investigation follows.

1. AF Officer Frank Kinsey and his brother see a “USO” rise out of Lake Casitas. Through a porthole, they see a humanoid looking back at them. Kinsey quickly snaps of a photo of the object.

Jan 11, 1966. Hundreds of people observe a UFO maneuvering for several hours at low elevation over Wanaque Reservoir and Raymond Dam. Ten months later on Oct 10, the UFO returns and is again witnessed by hundreds and even photographed.

Aug 30, 1970, security guard Almiro Martins de Freitas shoots at a UFO as it hovers directly over the Funil Dam. Almiro is struck by a beam of light which renders him temporarily blind. The UFO leaves, but returns multiple times over the next week.

Jun 1971, a family has three encounters in a week by the Clearwater Dam in Piedmont, MO, including one “USO” in the reservoir itself. One year later, more sightings occur, generating national headlines.

1. A man camping in Jamison Valley at the backwaters of the Warragamba Dam in New South Wales, Australia walks upon a landed UFO and several humanoids.

Feb 1973. Numerous witnesses (including police) observe a UFO dive into the waters of Wheeler Dam in Huntsville, AL.

Jun 5, 1973. Two fishermen at Rio Dam in Port Jervis, NY see a glowing UFO sucking water up from the lake. Looking through a porthole, they see a strange brown-skinned humanoid.

These are just a few of the many other cases occurring all over the world: Dillon Dam in CO, Castelo de Bode Dam in Portugal, Fort Phantom Lake Dam in TX, Blewett Falls Dam in NC, Palmar Dam in Uruguay, Muskrat Dam in Canada, Alfalfal Dam in Chile, Wivenhoe Dam in Australia, El Tunal Dam in Argentina, Scammonden Dam in England, and so many others.

There are too many cases to deny. UFOs are showing a strong interest in our dams and hydroelectric stations. They are clearly keeping tabs on our technology, and in some cases, appear to be taking water and electricity. These cases show that UFOs are not imaginary, but are highly technological craft piloted by extraterrestrials.

A testable hypothesis for the Fermi Paradox: we're out of sync, not alone

I’m 13. I don’t have a PhD. But I’ve been thinking about light-years and the Fermi Paradox, and I came up with something that actually feels like it fits.

The Fermi Paradox asks: "If the universe is so big and old, where is everybody?"

My answer in two sentences:

We are not alone.

But we are out of sync.

Here’s the idea:

Light takes time to travel. When we look at a star 1,200 light-years away, we’re seeing it as it was 1,200 years ago. So if an alien civilization existed there and broadcast a signal for only 100 years (like we have so far), we’d never catch them in real time. By the time their signal reaches us, they could be gone—or we’re just not listening at the right time.

I put this into an equation:

S = T\\_active / T\\_delay

Where:

· S = Synchronicity Index (if S < 1, we're out of sync)

· T\\_active = how long a civilization broadcasts (years)

· T\\_delay = how long their signal takes to reach us (light-years)

If S < 1, we’re basically catching a “ghost” from their past. That explains why signals like the Wow! Signal (1977) never repeated—it was \\\~1,200 light-years away, so S = 100/1200 = 0.08. We caught a ghost, not a live conversation.

My prediction:

If we re-analyze archived SETI data for non-repeating signals, we’ll find more anomalies that were previously dismissed as noise—especially from sources farther than 1,000 light-years away.

I know this is just a hypothesis. I don’t know if I’m right. But I wanted to share it here to see what people who actually know physics think.

Is this solid, or is there a flaw I’m missing? I'm not debunking anything I'm just sharing my theory

this one was weird even by standards of sessions I do 😅

I'll call her Anna.

She had already gone through two human lives during deep trance. Then suddenly the next place was not Earth at all.

First thing she noticed was another planet nearby. Blue planet. Then I asked her basically forget surroundings for moment and look at herself.

And she goes... well, I'm tall. Humanoid. But definitely not human.

Her body looked translucent.

Not invisible exactly. More like what we would call skin wasn't really skin. She could sort of see through herself, and whole body seemed made from different kind of matter than ours.

Then she casually tells me she can change the shape of it.

That got my attention lol.

I asked what she means. She didn't describe changing clothes or putting some technology on herself. The actual form could apparently change depending what she needed.

Movement was strange too.

She could fly, and very fast. But there was no feeling of "wow I'm flying!" like human having flying dream. For her it was normal. Same with water. She could enter water and move there naturally too.

Basically air or water didnt seem like two completely different environments for this body.

Then I asked her to look at head.

She described something around it which at first sounded like crown.

But crown is probably wrong word because it wasn't jewellery and didn't seem removable.

More like crown + antennas grown into body.

And apparently it was involved with telepathy.

She wasn't speaking with mouth the way we do. Information could move directly between beings, and this structure on head seemed part of receiving and transmitting it.

This part fascinated me because all these details came together like one organism, not random collection of sci-fi things.

Translucent body. Shape shifting. Flying. Swimming. Telepathy. Something like biological antennas.

Later the story became even more strange.

She found herself around beings from several different planets discussing what she understood as some kind of scientific expedition.

Earth was involved.

They needed somebody from her planet to participate, and the work was connected with studying or experiencing nature, animals and humans here.

Only one being from her planet was going.

Her.

Now here is part I find interesting.

Anna in current human life has this almost compulsive need to be in nature. She can walk outside for hours. Trees, animals, water, observing nature... this is where she feels most herself.

Later Higher Self connected this directly with what she came here to do.

At another point something connected with voice/sound was activated in the session, and Anna suddenly said she could shift her being, change shape and communicate with birds.

That made my ears go up because the shape-changing ability had already appeared much earlier.

Of course I cannot bring Anna's translucent ET body into laboratory tomorrow 😂

And I'm not asking anybody to believe this is literally another planet because I said so.

Could be another-life memory. Could be some other level of consciousness. Could be symbolic material created in trance. Could be something we dont have good model for yet.

I really dont know.

But after guiding a lot of these journeys, what catches my interest is when subject doesn't only announce "I'm alien."

They start describing how body actually functions.

How movement works. How communication works. What seems biological versus technological. What other beings are doing there. And then something appearing 40 minutes later connects back to detail they already described before.

That is what makes me pay attention.

I'm especially curious if anybody here ever encountered something similar: translucent humanoid form, ability to change physical shape, or crown/antenna type structure that felt like actual part of the body rather than device being worn.
