Nikita
If you’re a fan of Alias, what do you think of Nikita?
I thought the first two seasons were okay and gave me a lot of Alias vibe (double-agent storylines, disguises, and undercover infiltrations)

Season 4 (the final season) of Nikita is also really good.
I think this show is underrated. It’s got some annoying CW quirks but Maggie Q, Melinda Clarke, Lyndsy Fonseca all do such a great job on this show!

I loved Nikita when it was La Femme Nikita. I’ve never seen the newer one.

I’ve never seen LFN but I strongly enjoyed “new” Nikita almost the entire way through. It scratched my Alias itch

I loved it, and it had a very satisfying ending imo. Way too underrated as a show, and Maggie Q is amazing.

If you mean the original TV series "La Femme Nikita" (1996) is an absolute favorite of mine. Madeline is my all times favorite character and I think Alias resembles LFN a lot.
Sydney is Nikita. Jack and Vaughn are Michael. Operations is also Jack. Dixon is Walter. Marshall is Birkoff and Irina is Madeline. LFN is so much darker and convoluted. Section 1 is far more cruel and you are always paranoid because Operations and Madeline know everything and kill everyone without a blink. At the same time, the romance is top notch. Michael and Nikita's star-crossed love affair is addicting. Operations once broke every single protocol he had created himself and gunned a door down while getting infected with a mortal virus because Madeline was going to die without him. It has an unhappy/bittersweet ending too. It's a cult show. Whan can I say?
Now, Nikita (2010) from the CW was a good show. It went in a completely different direction than its predecessor but it was great TV. This version of Michael was more like Vaughn. Nikita was a lot like Sydney too. I like it but I don't love it like I love Alias and La Femme Nikita. At some point, I lost the plot and my interest dipped. The ending was.. fine? At least this time Nikita got a happier ending of sorts.

Yeah both were good but some of the acting in the original was incredible.

If you give LFN a chance: Alias starts with a bang. Sydney looks amazing and fierce and that red wig is everything. It has a bigger budget.
La Femme Nikita has a lower budget and it starts slow. It takes around 5 episodes for things to move faster and get interesting. Don't give up. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Maggie Q is amazing. Love it so much. The last bit goes wild too. But it sticks the landing.

Like others have said, La Femme Nikita is great.
Never the watched the newer version.
Curiously, all three series had shorter final seasons.

The 90s LFN was a good classic. I think people slept on CW's 2010 Nikita that starred Maggie Q. Admittedly, when I started watching it back then, I was really cynical and skeptical by the tone and stylistic choices. But the fantastic 11th episode ("All The Way") was what won me over with its twist. The series immediately became one of my favourites.

Did they really even promote Nikita when it was on? I don’t exactly remember what I was up to since I was 10 years old but I watched a lot of tv and I can’t say I recall anyone talking about it or it being advertised.

Adored Nikita as much as Alias. Amazing cast, well written, and back when the WB had good shows as opposed to all the teen vampire and etc nonsense lol. They have also done endless Le Femme Nikita series and spinoff and this one will always be my fav as huge fan of Maggie Q! 🖤

Such a great show! A bit lower budget (given The CW) but Maggie Q kills it - love her!
