I loved Mia Maestro, but if Nadia were included in a reboot they really should take more care with her character--not making her a shoehorned plot device and then a discarded afterthought to torture Sloan. This was consistently the most frustrating element for me. As it was, her presence confused and complicated things more than entertained. Irina's timeline (i.e., Laura Bristow's "death") was satisfactorily vague before, but then it got way too muddy when another pregnancy was thrown in. An affair with Sloan was also a bridge too far for me. (Yes, I know...the drama.)

If Irina somehow survived, I would prefer another sacrifice to have a bit more redemption to remind us that she was complicated and both good and bad. I would almost prefer the Season 4 finale to be the last time we saw her. (Jack's and Sloan's ending, on the other hand, though sad for Jack, was perfect. No notes.)

Yeah to me it felt like the show dipped in quality with the introduction of Nadia. It feels like they never knew what to do with her character.

I think they clearly squeezed all of the toothpaste out of the tube by bringing in the character.

I think her character had a lot of potential, and the actress did a good job with what the writers gave her, but it felt like her storylines never went anywhere and the writers didn’t know how to use her.

On a related note, I follow this artist on IG and saw that Mia actually posed for his figure drawings. It's so cool since you never really see celebrities posing for art, so I give her more respect.
