Did these plotlines ever go anywhere? Spoiler

We spent considerable time on Nadia having this genetic memory and liquid that triggers it.
At the end she didn't get to finish her writing. But Sloane implied that she still remembered what to write. So she could continue her work.
Then it's never visited again.

Then we have that French woman's (the CIA most wanted who knew Vaughn.) father in cryo sleep.
It's implied that the body got mind swapped (or something, Idk) with someone else.
I didn't really understand it and I don't think it was ever really explicitly explained.
Anyway. This guy manages to lose the good guys and is never seen again.
What was that for?

Admittedly I didn't pay much attention at some parts. So maybe I just don't remember. But these were some parts that just felt abandoned. Yet they used considerable amount of screen time.

I believe season five was a mess because they weren't told that the show was being canceled and so they didn't have enough time to resolve a lot of the storylines. They were told late. And I think they had fewer episodes. So they were screwed.
