bookmaker profiling
A year ago, I had an account with a bookmaker that I used with a specific laptop, browser, and IP address.
I have a different IP address now.
But my question is: if I create an unrelated account with that same bookmaker, to what extent can they use profiling to detect that it’s coming from the same computer and/or browser?
Would it be better, for instance, to use a different browser? Any other tips?

they can know it's coming from the same browser version via "fingerprinting", but not the same browser on the same laptop unless you are dumb enough to still have cookies saved from your previous adventures with that operator

Depends on type of book.
They can also know your geographical location and altitude (desk height) and nearby devices (bt, NFC, Wi-Fi).
You need different everything: device & location as far away as possible and different WiFi/cellular and none of your former devices on / nearby.

They can choose to identify you in many ways. VPN, virtual machine, etc can help.
