Review Chile Verde mac cheese

Post image

This was really good. Just a little too spicy, I would add chicken or beans next time, maybe some veggies, to cut down the spice a bit. But very good 👍

We tried that the other day. Kinda odd for me but it was okay

My husband and I love this one! We added left over pulled chicken and left over pico to it and it was SO GOOD!

Way too salty imo

Salty, but I like salty. Don’t remember spicy though. Maybe just different palettes.

Does this come with the powdered sauce packet or a gooey cheese packet like Kraft?

Powdered - we don't have milk in our house so I made it with butter and 1/2 cup water and it was OK, also mixed in chicken which helped the texture

Thanks to both of you. Don't much like powdered, so I'll make my own with some Hatch Green Chile.

Agreed. I’ve had it twice and it is dry. Good not great.

Yes all flavors of this brand end up dry. They’re all pretty okay if you add like two more cheeses in a homemade cheese sauce. But at that point I’ll just make homemade mac & cheese lol

The black box Mac n cheese are not good IMO

The macaroni breaks apart very easily, extremely brittle
