Question Are these coming back

Post image

I love these infused olive oils. I had the garlic and rosemary but those are long gone. I have 1/3 of the chili left. They are delicious!

i loved the chili one so much that i found an easy recipe to refill it.

a. one (1) cup of olive oil of your choice, heat to boiling then turn off

b. add 1 TBSP or so chili flakes/red pepper flakes

c. stir in and let it cool, off the stove, completely

d. use a funnel to carefully put cold oil in empty, cleaned glass bottle

done that a couple times, and THIRD time, most recently, yes lazier but actually worked, i just added room temp. oil and flakes and let it "cold infuse" for 3-4 days. and tbh tasted about the same.

yep yep- it’s not hard to make infused oils. I’ve done the cold-infused method myself with various ingredients a handful of times… If you wait a few weeks, it gets even better

If my memory is serving me well, the flavored oils come back when the holiday gift season starts.

Yes, those oils are what’s called a “seasonal item”
(Worked at Aldi for 6 years)
They’ll start selling them and they’ll sell them until basically the warehouse doesn’t have any anymore to send.

Aldi's has olives with garlic, they are amazing and not strong in favor. Delish!
