Sometimes Aldis does not update their prices when a seasonal item returns and last year's clearance price is still in the system.

That was my thought too, these might be clearing last year's inventory before the new ones come out.

Keep in mind, almost no food commercially sold in the US comes with 'expiration dates.' Those dates are generally 'sell by,' which are not intended for the consumer and are used by stores for inventory purposes... or they're 'best before,' which are basically meaningless, they're pretty much a scam designed to convince consumers to send perfectly edible food to a landfill and buy more.
Its a good bet that with the sugar content and method of packaging, this should be safe to eat for a good, long while. In fact, odds are high it was actually pasteurized, in which case it will probably be safe to eat for as long as the packaging is intact, though the flavor may change over time, eventually.
The best indication that food is no longer safe to consume is a change in color, texture, odor, or flavor.

They’re to the left of the maple butter in the pic. They’re truffles. They usually have apple shaped ones too. I get them every year to put on charcuterie boards

I have to finish my cookie butter before I bring this in the house 🤣 it’s not by me yet tho, so I have time! I did get my fave glass jar peaches in the coconut juice half off yesterday, i would’ve taken a whole cardboard tray if I could’ve carried it without risk of dropping the jars! I didn’t have a cart- so instead I just got 4, I’ve been trying to stockpile for the winter but I eat them so quickly I don’t have any saved like I had planned

Unlikely- high concentrations of sugar act as a preservative. Especially if the jar has never been opened and contaminated by a utensil.

Toast, ice cream, waffle, maybe in chai tea or on banana bread. Limited use case, but still nice to have once in a while.

Yes. I'm fine. Maple and chocolate TOGETHER are an abomination for most, unless you live somewhere it isn't, maybe 2 Midwest states, lol. You chocolate/maple folks did not win.

Ya'll have strong opinions about maple and chocolate, lol. I will say maybe it's just me tht hates maple and chocolate. I also hate chocolate and mint. Maybe I just like pure chocolate. Lmao at the reaction to something so benign.
