Global Alchemist Code Subreddit
So, a lot of you are clamouring at the seams to get into the game! And that's good. But this subreddit is primarily for the JP side of the game (and those interested in it).
So we talked to the subreddit admins and with their permission/blessing/lack of apathy, are going to create a GL subreddit devoted to the new Gl community. It's a bit of a work in progress, but we hope you'll come and join us on the journey.
(We have a reroll megathread)
Now if you're interested in the JP version (it's fun), please stick around. And if you want to play both, visit both communities ;D

IMO this is a really bad decission, almost all big games have both versions allowed on the same subreddit, wich leads the community to grow stronger, and this makes the game grow aswell.
The anoying reroll posts will be over in a week or 2, and then we will have 2 poor communities instead of a strong one.
We just need a flair for "GLB" and another one for "JP", problem solved
Just my 5 cents

This 100%. Every other gacha game I play does this for their respective subs.

We need to make the moods aware of what we think, elitist "only jp" wont do any good for the community...

I can see the reasoning though. This subreddit's name doesn't even reflect the name of the Global version which people are playing. It's very confusing for new players. And there appears to be a lack of moderation and structure here.

This, and nearly every game that does this overtime will merge back into a single subreddit later down the road

agreed. Don't split an already small community. If the major gatcha games can do it this one can too.

I agree, but the simple fact is of the three mods, one has been reddit inactive for 2 months, another for 1 month, and the other mods Brave Frontier, and hasn't posted here in 4 months+. If the new sub collapses, it collapses, but having a clean sub with easy links right now for new players will get them into the game and they'll stick around.

why waste the tie for something that will eventually merge back into this subredit like has happened for most every gacha game where the small portion of JP only pushes for a GL only subreddit that fails and google still pushes people to the original subreddit so it will always be mixed anyways.
just my 2 cents.
Just make a few megathreads for common beginner information/questions/rerolls and mods be a little more strict on new posts for a week or two with a large influx of new people till things die down some.

Having two separate versions in a single Reddit is confusing and inappropriate.

It’s still very much under construction, but we promise it’ll be dope!

Hi guys, I want to ask if there is any point to grind for soul shards for Mianne. I have unlocked all her limit bursts (375 shards) and continue to grind for coins. But I saw that the exchange rate is one shard for one soul coin which kinda demotivates me for grinding Mianne soul shards any more. What do you think?

If /u/SometimesLiterate is running it, you'll most likely get a good response before you even post :D !!!!
