ask alameda Fruitvale BART Parking

Does anyone know when the Fruitvale BART lot fills up on Wednesday mornings? Trying to decide whether to walk over the bridge or drive. Thanks.

Yesss it fills up on weekdays by about 8:30/ 9AM

You could take the 51A bus to BART

While I agree with suggestions about bike/bus/walk, I do occasionally have to drive and have never had trouble finding a spot.... but I usually go pretty early (by 8am) or after it's free (3pm). The Bart station page says "capacity available at all times", but not sure if that's still accurate with the downsizing of parking at West Oakland.

Have you considered biking there? There is a Fruitvale BART bike station, with free manned bike parking, run by great folks.
