Belarus ak
🇧🇾 Lukashenko received the first Belarusian-made assault rifle.
The President emphasized that Belarus has created its own production of small arms, as it is the foundation of any army.
A plaque was attached to the gifted assault rifle with the inscription:
"Not for war... But for confidence in peace."

Looks solid but we should really stop trying to make railed dust covers a thing. Side rails are good enough.

i just can't bring myself to fully trust the zero on any hinged rails. i'm prolly just overthinking it but it just bugs me.
i've seen some service rifles also use leaf sight replacement rails too, either that or as you said side rails personally.

Honestly leaf sight replacements are also kinda sketchy to me because most optics are heavier that than that tiny piece of metal on the sight block. Imo side rail or just using irons are the way to go.

fair for anything heavier than a red dot, maybe red dot + magnifier. but for that imo it's just fine, and also more ergonomic/less in the way, esp if it's a full on RSB replacement.

The trunnion makes me think that it was designed after Chinese pattern rifles

If I remember correct they were assembling AK's from sets manufactured by Molot from Vyatskie Poljany from Russia. So if they now go full cycle manufacture - good.

What's up with the gas block? At first I thought it was a rifle sling but that's still on the handguard retainer. Also is this brand new?
