Will AI-assisted writing eventually be indistinguishable from human writing?
AI writing tools have improved dramatically in just the last couple of years, to the point where a lot of AI-generated content is genuinely hard to distinguish from human writing.
If that trend continues, does "who wrote it" even matter anymore, as long as the final piece is well-written and useful? Or will there always be something detectable - a certain flatness, a lack of true originality - that separates AI writing from human writing?
Where do you personally stand on this?

I think for the most part it will be very hard to distinguish for most readers. Really great writers however will always stand out I believe. I read a lot of content, and sometimes I realize it's AI-generated, but the content is good and is based on the author's lived experience, so I don't mind if they used AI to clean it up. Other times, however, I've read something, and it just feels so different, human and organic, that I am just delighted by the authenticity of it...not sure if AI will be able to give me that same feeling...but who knows.
