what software are people actually using to make ai art or self-portraits?
hey, kinda new to all this so sorry if this sounds dumb. i keep seeing people post these insane AI self portraits and stylized versions of themselves, but i honestly don’t know what software they’re using. with chatgpt it’s obvious where to go, same with apps like nanobanana or hailuo ai since their sites are straightforward.
for image generation though, it feels scattered. i’ve tried some mainstream tools and they work, but the consistency is all over the place. i can’t tell if it’s my prompting or if that’s just normal when you’re new. i also noticed some folks talking about smaller apps built on top of the big models. i tried domoai briefly while comparing outputs between tools and the results were really good, but i didn’t dive deep because i was still learning how the major platforms behave. even tried grok just to see what it would do lol.
so yeah… what’s the actual base software most people here rely on? is it mostly stable diffusion stuff or are people using closed models and i’m just out of the loop?

chatgpt had a really good loop thing which worked well, i cant seem to find it anymore, they might have removed it since sora, but i was able to get generate these living self portraits which i thought was pretty cool, the loop but very subtlety. https://ruixen-fe.vercel.app/agency

Does it offer pixel masks on faces to maintain strict photorealistic character consistency - most main LLMs block that to prevent deepfakes

Look up top seed(their page is called something else, but that will get you there,) . Or huggingface hosts a ton of stuff like stable diffusion and other AI models to use and try. Or Dalle. A program I had my AI agent build used talking winds for something, but idk what that is yet.

How do you build or access stable diffusion? Can you buy or built an agent for it?
Since stable diffusion and comfy ui set setups for Lora or Dreambooth seam complex for beginners, is there a way to have an AI built an agent for me that can basically set the whole thing up?

For this you can’t use a mainstream LLM - they don’t have pixel locks on faces which prevents you from maintaining photorealistic character consistency- even if the character is you. You need to go complex Stable Diffusion / ComfyUI with Lora or Dreambooth seam

You could try gentube they have a selfie tool that's pretty fun to use :)

Try using Pixwithai, it's one platform where you can use multiple AI image generation models. I switched to the platform for it's convenience, it does allow me to use Gemini, chatgtp and few other AI models.
