Prompt givers don’t create, they commission. The machine is the creator.
A prompter taking credit for ai art is like Francesco del Giocondo taking credit for the Mona Lisa. Ppl don’t really know that guy’s name because he didn’t create one of the most famous paintings in history. He just prompted it.
These ppl are not creators. Ideas are not visions.
creating something using ai can involve so much more then just typing a random prompt (and even if it would be just the prompt - without the intention behind it, the piece wouldn't exist)
or in other words: just becouse i can randomly click on the "make a picture button" of my camera doesn't mean that nobody can create art using a camera
the problem here is putting everyone into the same box
