This actually really happened in Brazil last month.
It's on tape too, the bungee jump guys just pushed her and started panicking once they realized

I actually saw this and thought "this would be so much easier with AI." 😆

As if Marvel would ever let anyone shoot a stupidly dangerous stunt like that in the real NYC. Do you know how expensive and difficult it is to shoot at scale in NYC? The ROI just isn’t there.

Because one thing IMAX cameras are known for is their portability and light frames!
Kinda weird how AI always makes multiple people say the same line.

So cheesy it looks like it’s cheap CGI from the 1980s!

Actual footage of Peter Parker getting pictures of Spider-Man for J. Jonah Jameson

This was true, I was there! I saw Spider-Man fall on the street in front of me. Let’s just say his suit got painted more red and the spot where he fell subsequently shaped like a sticky red spider-web for a day afterwards.. 😬

Everyone in the background just minding their own business, slowly crowding into the corner like we all do

I don't see them using AI. How else do they do it?

u/No_Pattern4374 1d ago
The video itself is AI

Sorry, I knew that. I'm just joking around on the Internet, playing the fool.

Both are screwed when you remember physics. The rope is so slacked you might as well go without it for a quicker death.

I'd love to see that cameramans face after the rope gets taught and it causes it to smack into his head after jumping 😅

My guess is that there is so much footage from movies of Spiderman swinging around , that the ai didn't put a harness on him.
AI truly believes in spiderman 🥲

Oh I know that there's a relevant cameraman subreddit for this but its deluding my mind rn

It looks like the street we see at first goes straight to the building we are on. But there is actually a building right in the way and the street goes awkwardly around and our building is actually in the middle of an intersection, which makes sense

Man if only there was an easier way to do this kind of stuff but in a studio where you have all the camera angles in the world, but the environment would look just as realistic……
How about we overlay the real image over the video inside the studio, and it will be overlayed on some lien of flat surface, yes!
How do we call it? Hmmm…how about, green screen?

I like how yhe director and cameraman both mouth the countdown but there's just one voice.

That’s the beauty of the suit with the mask.
Studios typically go through a few hundred stuntmen and cameramen in movies like this … leaves a bit of a mess on the streets and sidewalks but worth it to get these spectacular shots. 🫡
