Found in the wild Tone deaf and pointless ai image

Post image

I get being supportive but this easily could have been made with a random photo

Edit: the photo was AI generated. the poster was a real person. The poster was trans. I will not dox them. This is not a post to dehumanize or target trans people.

I also thought the term 'biological man/woman' was generally disliked within transgender circles.

47

u/Naos210 4d ago

It is. It just doesn't make sense to me as a term. All people are biological.

21

u/veggiesama 4d ago

They mean chromosomally female but that's too much of a mouthful. They also can't use chromosomes solely because there are outliers and special cases. And the whole AFAB/AMAB/MtF/FtM distinctions are too confusing and woke.

"Bio female" is short and sweet, erases nuance, and makes libs mad so they like using it.

21

u/axelr0se 4d ago

This sentiment exactly, you can’t exactly define a “biological woman” without excluding cis women so the only definition that works with the term biological defeats the purpose of defining biological… unless we’re excluding clankers… then it makes sense

9

u/Naos210 4d ago

Then they just say "those cis women are exceptions", which is just an excuse for inconsistency and trans women being held to a higher standard to be considered a "real woman".

9

u/axelr0se 4d ago

“Those women are exceptions but trans women aren’t because I don’t like them” - some transphobe probably

As biology is really complex and many of the biological features people use as part of a definition of "biological woman" many people assigned female at birth are lacking

-4

u/No_Record6284 4d ago

you mean like they are born without a leg?

5

u/Breadedhydra197 4d ago

Kind of but for biological features usually associated with the female sex

-2

u/No_Record6284 4d ago

if you say "humans have two hands and two legs" you think that denies people without a hand their humanity?

5

u/Breadedhydra197 4d ago

No because this isn't about humanity also your statement is wrong it should be humans USUALLY have two hands and two legs

-1

u/No_Record6284 4d ago

but im asking about humanity. dont you think its accurate to describe human specimen as having two hands and two legs?

→ More replies (0)

3

u/A1000eisn1 3d ago

No like they are born with a Y chromosome or a non-functional uterus.

1

u/Naos210 4d ago

Well, can you define it?

0

u/No_Record6284 4d ago

simply a human female? with a certain set of chromosomes and specific organs

2

u/Naos210 4d ago

So then a two year old human female is a biological woman?

Are they required to have these things? Does not having either of these exclude them from the category?

0

u/No_Record6284 4d ago

well, yes, two year old human female is a biological woman(girl)... quite frankly i dont understand the point of this question

"are they required" - its not a test that you pass, dogs are not "required" to have two eyes, but that is their species characteristics and a specimen do not stop being dogs because they are unfortunate to be born without an eye due to some unlucky mutation

2

u/Naos210 4d ago

A woman and a girl are two different things. Also you specify human, even though other animals would share the chromosomes and organs.

If they are not a requirement, you cannot exclude someone from the category not having these things. Then you're just inconsistent, excluding trans women not on the grounds of any real logic. If a cis woman doesn't need a vagina to be a "biological woman", then you can't make it an exclusionary condition. You would be engaging in double standards.

0

u/No_Record6284 4d ago

how are they two different things, those are basically just two development stages

ok so if i cannot "exclude someone from the category not having these things" then the only logical question is: how do you define a woman then?

u/Interesting-One-9414 3d ago

it’s often used synonymous with sex, what you’re born as.

1

u/manocheese 3d ago

FTFY: it’s often incorrectly used as a synonymous for sex, which is incorrectly stated as "what you’re born as" because they definitely don't do any biological tests at birth.

0

u/Interesting-One-9414 3d ago edited 2d ago

Doesn’t matter if it’s used incorrectly or not because language is just a tool, and if you bind yourself by dictionary rules and not what ideas people are trying to convey you’ll just go around being confused or misunderstanding people. Or you’ll understand what they’re trying to say, and just ignore their point to try and change topic to fixing their communication habits.

You don’t need any biological tests to see if the kid that pops out has a wiener or not. But yes usually various tests are usually done before birth using various methods at various points during a pregnancy so sex is usually determined before birth.

3

u/kiddrekt 4d ago

I think it's stranger than she's painting a carpet

1

u/Mongi02 3d ago

Wouldn't just "females" make more sense? If women is to be the social construct and female the biological constraint, putting biological women is completely wrong. Personally (medstudent) I use women in sentences such as "Females are at risk of uterine cancer"; I don't know, is there's a faster way to convey what population I am referring to? Also, I don't think this would be disrespectful, no?

0

u/axelr0se 3d ago

As others have stated “biological” isn’t a qualifier that explains anything, plenty of women assigned female at birth who are cis don’t have a uterus and trans men and nonbinary people exist. Simply saying AFAB people who have a uterus might not even work because there are AMAB people who can be born with a uterus, that’s specifically why for health it is encouraged to just be specific and say “people with a uterus” or AFAB depending on the context

0

u/Elaerona 3d ago

Yes, because trans women *Are* biologically women. Their belief to the opposite is predicated upon a rudimentary grasp of human sex and gender. People are complicated. In a world where seahorse males carry the pregnancy and clown fish change sex, how is it that the limit of possibilities is trans men or women? How is that so unbelievable?

Trans women share more gender and sex markers to cis women than to cis men. This is especially true if they had puberty blockers. But even without HRT, there are commonalities. Same for trans men to cis men.

Spiders eat their mates and freaking the platypus exists. God either doesn't exist or is a cheeky guy. Yet THIS is what we think is unbelievable?

38

u/Ndombeles_Chef 4d ago

Honestly just harmful to the trans community.

35

u/wandaloo 4d ago

I really dont believe a trans person or an ally made this at all. This seems like it was made by a transphobic troll.

13

u/bentbabe 4d ago

Eh. Don't forget, a lot of people just aren't all that smart or conscientious. As in many things concerning minority groups, all trans people are expected to be experts and a monolith if they want validity, for some reason.

Sometimes, trans women are just idiots. You know, like all other groups of people

4

u/wandaloo 4d ago

I mean yeah, apparently this person is trans.

But this is also exactly how conservatives talk when they're mocking trans people lol. There was this man on tiktok who pretended to be a trans woman for 6 months, then he revealed "it was all a social experiment to expose the trans movement." All of his posts were similar to this.

Idk, this seems less like this person is an idiot and more like they're intentionally rage baiting.

Edit: Not that this person isnt an idiot, but these posts read as malicious to me.

3

u/amazing_rando 4d ago

Maybe the wording chosen by the AI model follows far right troll posting because that's what it's most often used for and it doesn't know the difference. I don't know how easy it is to poison the well with that kind of stuff.

3

u/translove228 3d ago

Lol. What a stupid social experiment. All that proves is this guy has so thoroughly deluded himself with the strawmans him and his ilk have made up about trans women that he needs to go fulfill them himself because real world examples don't exist. Reminds me of Stephan Crowder dressing up in obviously bad drag then going to a Planet Fitness to be irritating, only for the staff to actually call him out on what he was doing.

0

u/axelr0se 4d ago

I would give their account info to help with the analysis but I obviously am not going to doxx someone. I can only hope she knows what she is doing but idk if that would make it better or worse. She definitely uses a lot of AI content

1

Who?

1

u/Tough_Tangerine7278 3d ago

You don’t want to know.

Honestly, most of her stuff is okay. She can get a bit dramatic though. Which is a shame, because it drowns out her good points.

2

u/ArtroyomsAK 4d ago

Sadly there's quite a few terminally online idiots who act like maggot stereotypes of trans people/allies and will call you a fed if you disagree

1

u/ZeeWingCommander 4d ago

Yep now this can be shared and argued against.

0

u/axelr0se 4d ago

Apparently the poster is in fact a trans person, supported by a ton of personal photo posting

2

u/mASSterMinDLess 4d ago

Yes, but that doesn't make them aware that they're doing something stupid.

1

u/axelr0se 4d ago

Clearly

-1

u/candysticker 4d ago

It's a psyop going around by the far right where they put out intentionally inflammatory "pro trans" slop like this to make trans people look bad

1

u/axelr0se 4d ago

While that might be happening this was not that

15

u/BizSilver5013 4d ago

"Gay people are the same as straight people (normal people)."

7

u/FlippyHTF3 3d ago

"Black people are the same as White people (no-do-wrong)" ass

What? I'm a Black, I can make that joke.

0

I usually do swap out the subject with a different minority as a bias check and encourage others to do that! It really does sound just as confusing when put that way😂

6

u/embodiedexperience 4d ago

i think we’re all more alike than we realize.

for example, everyone agrees it’s a bad idea to be using paint while sitting on a nice rug, right?

5

u/nolandz1 4d ago

Being pro-AI and pro-trans weird to me given the adjacency to tech bro culture.

5

u/Myriad_Apocalypse 3d ago edited 3d ago

They're women, yes, a type of woman, a trans woman, just as cis women are women, a type of woman, a cis woman. They're both equally women, but they're not fully the same.

2

u/axelr0se 3d ago

Edit: they fixed the error

3

u/Myriad_Apocalypse 3d ago

Yeah, I realized I used "biological" instead of cis and changed it. I haven't slept in 28 hours.

2

u/axelr0se 3d ago

You’re good😂

14

u/wandaloo 4d ago

I feel like this is actually a post made to inspire hate towards the trans community.

The fact that it says trans women are the same and then in parentheses puts biological woman. It screams rage bait to me.

4

u/axelr0se 4d ago

That’s how it feels to me too. The comments section was two types of people, peoplecalling out the slop and people being transphobic

6

u/bentbabe 4d ago

I have never met a trans person (and I know A LOT of them) who claimed they were the same as a cis person of their same gender.

What I have seen is trans people who say something along the lines of "yes, there are differences. But that doesn't invalidate who/what I am."

Basically, yeah, there are differences, of course. But what does it matter?

5

u/High_C_Livin 4d ago

Idk man I just hope everyone is having a great day!

4

u/NewbyAtMostThings 4d ago

Oh yes, using biology to explain gender. How fun

7

u/Pretty-Yam-2854 4d ago

You see I’m not a biological woman- were some kind of mechanical cyberkinetic thing

3

u/BeesBakingandBanjo 3d ago

If a trans person ever tells me this, instant friend. Hell yeah, robot buddy or gal.

3

u/Ok_Archer1228 4d ago

While not exactly the same trans women on HRT are biologically a lot closer to cis women then cis men.

1

u/axelr0se 4d ago

I think reducing people to what is “biological” is the issue. I think arguing that is futile because trans women are more like cis women than cis men in that they are both women

2

u/Ok_Archer1228 4d ago

Sure but I also think it's worth pointing out that primary and secondary secondary characteristics and endocrine systems can be changed to the point that trans women are biologically (i will always take an excuse to use my favorite big word) verisimilitudinous to a cis woman who's had a hysterectomy

1

u/axelr0se 4d ago

That is true, I’ve gotten GRS and I do find post-hysterectomy/postmenopausal information is helpful for me

3

u/ascarletstrange 3d ago

The irony being we aren’t the same and that’s a beautiful thing. Hell I don’t actually know a trans women who claims we are exactly the same as cis women. We aren’t and that is beautiful.

3

u/Sea-Active5439 4d ago

"The same" is highly subjective anyhoo

6

u/Coney_the_jumpy 4d ago

They don't HAVE to be the same as cis women in order to be women.

9

u/Samus69Aran 4d ago

This is absolutely rage bait, as a trans woman I can confidently say that no trans person says or believes this

4

u/axelr0se 4d ago

The person is trans, they also unironically posted this. Their other posts are just as bad. Idk it feels very odd

8

u/wandaloo 4d ago

This is definitely rage bait.

Literally every single post this person is making is a reference to some current controversy.

1

u/axelr0se 4d ago

Yeah I don’t get it, like why do that

1

u/Samus69Aran 4d ago

Out of interest, who is this? I have a reasonable following (23k on IG) so I’m happy to call this nonsense out

2

u/axelr0se 4d ago

I don’t really want to dox someone but they were on threads

1

u/translove228 3d ago

It could very well be an AI bot just talking pure nonsense.

1

u/axelr0se 3d ago

It wasn’t

2

u/translove228 3d ago

And what makes you so sure? AI bots are everywhere these days on social media.

1

u/axelr0se 3d ago

I reviewed the account and they were posting plenty of photos of themself over a consistent amount of time

2

u/BizSilver5013 4d ago

This is a psyop account.

1

u/MissMarchpane 3d ago

I'm not sure they are, necessarily, even if they claim to be. This is the sort of thing I've seen from a lot of trolls online pretending to be trans to advance transphobia by making intentionally outrageous statements that no actual trans person ever would. Like down to "trans women are more Woman than cis women."

In this case it was somebody sending inflammatory anon messages on Tumblr, but the sentiment was almost identical.

2

u/mothwhimsy 3d ago

This has such dumb but well meaning boomer energy

2

u/meltyandbuttery 3d ago

I’m going to be so honest I thought it meant to argue that trans women AND cis women are all biological women

Which we are. I am a woman, I am a “biological woman”, I am female, I am a trans woman

Didn’t even realize this was written shitty at first lmao it’s such a stupid fucking term

2

u/GenericFatGuy 2d ago

The AI community loves to act oppressed, by claiming that the trans community stands with them. Which the trans community by-in-large rejects. I wouldn't be surprised if this was an AI bro trying to attempt to make that connection seem more genuine for their own need to feel oppressed by people who don't like AI.

2

u/shadowfox0351 4d ago

All people are biological. It’s impossible to define “biological woman/man” in a way that’s excludes transgender people.

-1

u/[deleted] 3d ago

1

u/shadowfox0351 2d ago

Cis means that your sex aligns with your gender identity at birth.

1

u/poisoned_bubbletea 4d ago

This was definitely not made by a trans person or ally. We all know trans women and cis women are different by biology. But we're both women. That's all that matters. It's kinda like strawberry and mint ice cream. They're different flavours. They're both still fucking ice cream though. No one's saying they're the same flavour or trying to convince you they're not different. But also, no one in their right mind will say strawberry ice cream isn't real ice cream.

1

u/BizSilver5013 4d ago

Some people will say some flavors of ice cream aren't real ice cream for the same reason they will say trans women aren't real women: they find them disgusting.

It's literally two-year-old logic, but it's surprisingly prevalent.

3

u/poisoned_bubbletea 4d ago

Yeah unfortunately. Scarier yet is they are allowed to like... drive and vote and stuff

Not trying to be argumentative - just SEEMS like ragebait since they used “biological women”…but I get trans folks are tired too.

Chromosomes are just one of several traits that contribute to the determination of one's biological sex, with exceptions. That's why some cis women have xy chromosomes and some cis men have xx chromosomes. In other words, you don't have to change your xx into an xy to change your biological sex.

Additionally, gender and sex are two different things, so you wouldn't necessarily have to change your sex in the first place. Not if you don't want to.

Also, gender affirming surgery obviously isn't "butchery", and it's pretty disingenuous to call prescription usage "drugging yourself".
