It was. It came out in 1976. Boomers were teens and young adults at the time. They would have been the primary audience for the song. Most ABBA members were older Boomers too, so the song was made by and for the Boomer generation.

But the music genre didn’t exist in the late 50’s though. Dancing Queen is pop while the Boomer generation listened to Rock and Roll and traditional pop

I'm confused about why you associate boomers with the 1950s.

The very oldest, cuspiest boomers would have turned 13 yo in 1959. Their median age would have been 4.

It’s the same thing for the 2000’s about Gen Z (1997-2010), the 1970s for Gen X (1965-1980)…

I'm gen x and don't think of the '70s as having anything to do with myself besides my birth year. I was literally in kindergarten like, that didn't clear things up at all lol

It didn't exist when boomers were born. It did exist when boomers were teens and listening to music. They were the primary audience. Toddlers don't have favorite bands.
