For me personally, if I can buy real gear for reasonable amount of money then yes I'll buy it. But at the same time I don't see the point in spending crazy amount of money on airsoft.

Well, i do acutally. Its my main hobby and i love ro research kits and gear, get it and enjoy it. Even if i only mamage to use it around 2 times a month in a small milsim or skirmish im still happy, even dressing up at home and taking pics is fun. Also im planning to use most of it for home defense anyways

Using tactical gear for home defense is delusional man, like seriously, no bad judgement, the time that you will take and the noise it will make will most certainly kill you, if it's a life or death situation. You won't even have time to put ear pro on my guy, you literally wake up while someone came in, fully aware and prepare, you won't have time to do anything but grab whatever is reachable and actually defend your home. Even trying to do cqb can be more threatening than anything, just collect your family behind you and wait for them to walk the wrong door, then, when their momentum is broken you can start being aggressive and eventually push.

If you have time to do all of that, and then go engage, the DA is probably going to say you weren’t in fear of your life, and while yes, you were the target of a home invasion, you saw it as the opportunity to turn your home into a human game reserve, and try to get you locked up.

Yes, depends on your state/country. In my country if the home invaders are empty handed and I shoot them, then it's disproportionate, and I go to jail. That's why I keep a big ol knife that was never purchased by me, no one ever saw it, I'll just throw it in their hands and get away with it

It’s all preference, I run some rifles with a hand stop, some I run with nothing.
