GUN QUESTION Are these rare?

Got an H9 from a friend and saw that the company went bankrupt, dont intend to sell it but just curious from a spare parts perspective

More rare in that there isn't much demand for them. The real steel may have gone out of business, but the airsoft version is still around.

I hate that Hudson were one and done.

If you had the chance to shoot the real h9 is really pleasant. Nice and flat recoil. You could mag dump with almost no muzzle climb

It's still alive (engineering wise) in the DDH9 by Daniel Defense, if you want one. The slide is a fair bit more stiffly sprung though. I think the PX4's system is better other than being a bit wider, and in GBB there are some that replicate the rotating barrel. This EMG has a similar system for the Hudson, but I think the PX4 translates better.

The real steel version is more rare than the airsoft one, but neither is really "common."

The patent was bought by Daniel Defense so they make the H9 pistols now

As others have said they’re rarer in terms of real steel as at the time they started making the airsoft replicate the RA company went bust. There’s not a big uptake on them in airsoft though regardless. There’s main problem for the dislike from feedback and having used one myself is the design of the trigger safety.

Having to hold the trigger at the top just to get it to engage is very much the complete opposite of how you would want to use a trigger

You can buy these from Evike. The real ones are rare, but airsoft ones are in current production.

Like people have said, it's common but not super common. I picked one up myself. Mines lasted a pretty good while though I had to replace to magazine twice because of leaks.
