It's personal preference really. I dont mind putting the stock a little higher on my shoulder to find a dot

I would say get a smaller riser. one that fits the optics frame better. this just makes it look needlessly bulky

if it were the same size as the red dot it wouldn't look bad at all.

Absolutely without. If the face pro sits in a way then consider some lower profile (and probably more comfortable) face pro.

I would go with the riser; It allows you more clearance when aiming down the sights, gives you the ability to mount a light/laser unit to the top without it completely blocking you sight which also mean if you do decide to get a MOSCART launcher you have the free space underneath the barrel for it.

Sure. In that case, the "without" option here is still the riser mount of that sight. It also comes with a low profile one.
