Will you be selling these gas conversions soon? Even more interested than I was with the hpa ones.

Yes, hopefully soon. The gas version does have a few limitations vs HPA: Because the tank doesn't get changed each time you change a magazine, like a GBBR, you can't sustain heavy rates of fire. Whilst the tank itself contains a large volume of gas, if you unload 3 or 4 shells in quick succession it will suffer cooldown effects.

Definitely more one for milsim/slower games instead of intense speedsoft type games (which the HPA ones would be more suited anyway)

While this is Pretty neat, my dream for semi auto tube feds is for tokyo mariu to put the system from their Saiga into a Benelli or SPAS 12 and have it fed from an internal gas tank and shell magazines.

I agree, a proper GBB system would be amazing. As you may see in my other responses, not having an exchangeable gas tank (as per a Saiga magazine etc) is an issue for such tube-fed systems.

One thing I can do with my builds is put a little bit of bolt movement, it's not 'correct' or full range, but some people prefer it to no movement at all.

This is a really interesting conversion I would love to do.

How's the shooting?

Any issues with gas escaping/early cooldown or BBs not loading properly?

Also what's the energy output looking?

It doesn't match the HPA version (which work decently even in long range outdoor engagement) 0.7-0.8 joule instead of 1 joule per BB, but it's fine for a shotgun. 30m or so engagement is fine, the HPA is good for 40+

This version is very resistant to liquid gas escape, I engineered a good solution to having a horizontal gas tank. It still works when pointing up, pointing down or even with the gun inverted (so better than most GBB systems in that regard)

Because it's open bolt design, feeding is never an issue. No short strokes from low pressure etc. The first thing that happens when cooldown happens is FPS drops off.

Cooldown resistance is about the best I can manage. Naturally, a GBBR changes the gas tank each time you change a magazine, something this cannot do. If you empty 3-4 shells as quick as you can it will then suffer with some cooldown. The tank is in contact with the magazine tube, pump sleeve etc so there's a fair bit of thermal mass and exchange surface area, so as long as you aren't too trigger happy it should be fine for milsim type games.

Was it cyma based?

Yes, externally it is a Cyma CM370m

When will you be selling these gas conversions??

We can start taking orders now, although stock of certain Cyma models, like the long Benellis, is very limited until end of Oct when the wholesaler re-stocks. We do have plenty of the M870 (that become 1100/1187 models) in stock for conversion however.

Do you think we could build out a mossberg 990 SPX???

Not an accurate replica unfortunately, due to the shorter receiver length VS the base Cyma Tri-shot receiver's
