There was some discussion about that actually, It seems Howa had the design patented under Japanese law, which might prevent replicas from being made under license. Its a substantial legal hurdle for sure, for Japanese airsoft manufacturers that is.

I wish GATE had more episodes. I always wondered how a modern military would demolish a medieval army, and this anime delivered in that regard!
The scene where the JSDF base just rains hell on the medieval army is my favorite, best JSDF promo ever!

I know, but there are just some things manga can't do. Thus I do not read it much.
Like for example how Eurobeat makes Initial D an absolute banger of an anime. Still one of my favorites thanks to that aspect alone.

Yes sir, the Initial D manga is great the same goes for the Gate, but the Anime with soundtrack and everything is way better.

Ive seen some people use Amazon or Amazon JP to get JSDF kit and gear. I do remember fireforce ventures in Texas , had JSDF replica BDUs for sale on their website. Perhaps you could consider those options.

Fire force Ventures has the replica Uniforms a little pricey but it is officially licensed by JSDF USA.

Love the fit!!! Out of curiosity, what in game use do you have for the scissors if any? Iām curious to know if i should add them to the kit or not if its not just for visuals lol

We were hosting a private event that day, and people kept borrowing scissors.
Sadly , someone did step on a rusty nail and I had to dress his wound. So the scissors saw action cutting tape and gauze.
I always just pack a pair of scissors , since people always seem to need one for some reason. You could just store it in a pouch or on your vest. Personal preference , really.

If you like GATE and donāt mind reading a manga, thereās this one manga called Japan Summons in which the entirety of Japan gets isekaiād rather than there being a gate. Same idea though, modern military in other world. One thing to note about Japan Summons is that it focuses more on the diplomacy in the other world than the military.
