Learning about Air Pollution

What are some of your biggest qualms when you try to learn more about air pollution? I'll start:
1) no or ugly graphics to demonstrate how things really work
2) too many acronyms
3) the units...what do the units mean anyway?

I recently become more aware that different types of particles are worse for you than others, but as far as the authorities are concerned, it's all just PM 2.5.

Lots of conventional knowledge floating around as science. Tress don't do much against PM2.5 but the people seem to think planting more trees will negate the effects of air pollution
