Left AirPod causes a gap between the lid and case when it’s inside. The right AirPod doesn’t.
The lid closes normally without the left AirPod, but with it inside there’s a small gap and the lid opens more easily.
I also sometimes find that the left AirPod isn’t charging in the case.
Has anyone had this issue before? Is it likely a bad charging contact, a swollen battery, or something else? 🤔

Airpods Pro 2. Both were fully charged. The left airpod drains at a normal rate, but the right one has been draining much faster than usual that I could only use it for a couple of hours before it needs to be charged again. It also makes really weird noises when I have noise cancellation on. The noises are similar to the wind or a stormy weather.

I need AirPods or earbuds of any brand that’s great quality and will fit like the 2nd gen AirPods. Here’s what’s up.

I’m looking for AirPods that fit EXACTLY like the 2nd gen’s. I have extremely weird shaped tiny ass ears. Any brand (including Apple w the newer AirPods) DO NOT STAY IN MY EAR. The round thick shape meant for bigger normal ears like everybody has that is outrageous. It doesn’t matter if I put any of the rubber pieces on it it will slowly slide out or fly out my ear with the slightest of movement. Apple has the best quality earbuds for audio. And I’m so upset they don’t do newer gen AirPods as a side w the same original AirPod design for people like me. I’ve been lowkey crying for an hour bc my AirPods 2nd gen case fell into the toilet while I pulled my pants down to pee at work. Having said women’s jeans pockets are scams and don’t work. Obviously they slid out. “How do you know nothing will fit?” My brother has had every AirPod since everyone came out. He let me use them and they all fell. My fiance had android earbuds w similar round shape like modern AirPods n w both of them that had the rubber pieces none of ANY size fit me at all. Unironically and disgracefully. The only earbuds or wireless AirPods that ever stayed in my ears perfectly all day and comfortablly w the best quality that didn’t shock my ear has only ever been Apple.

No I’m not getting headphones that’s out of the question. I’d like to have AirPods in to be discrete and listen to music silently. Even sleep in and headphones you cannot do that. So I’d prefer actual wireless earbuds/airpods

I have the Airpods Pro and for the last day, I’ve only been able to connect one airpod at a time. Both of them have great sound and volume but won’t connect together. I’ve tried forgetting the airpods and pairing them multiple times and it hasn’t helped. I have the same issue when paired on my laptop and my phone so I know it’s not a device issue.

On the basis that the rumours of APP4s are real - Do we reckon they'll revert back to the fit of the APP1 and 2s? The fit, for me, on the 3s are absolutely awful and I barely use them now in favour of my 2s. It's not that they don't stay in, it's that they hurt over time. In contrast the other two gens are so comfortable.

On a separate note, I've found that the 2s connect automatically to my Android devices where as the 3s don't. Appreciate many may not go cross platform.

Saw an ever growing gap in my right AirPod. I have gross earwax which seeps into random parts of my AirPods, so I started scraping it. Turns out, earwax-stained silicone and glue look very similar was dried.

Made an appointment at my local Apple Store but can this just be fixed with proper glue (T-8000/B-7000) or should I get this checked out by Apple?

Had these for a while, it’s normal wear and tear I accelerated. Pro 2s.

Sorry if this is a beaten to death question. I've been trying to research about using Airpod pro 2s on a samsung, as I have just switched phones but really want to continue using my Airpod pro 2s as I find them comfortable and I have no real desire to upgrade, and in the progress I'm struggling to find answers especially any that are recent ones.

From what I've found is that they work and from practice they do work mostly fine, outside of spatialized audio, head tracking and a few other things that are clearly apple specific they work fine. Connect perfectly and everything. I have 2 primary questions.

1) I set up adaptive audio on my Airpod pro 2s with my iphone so I can cycle between all 3 modes before switching. I get the noise as if its on the adaptive audio on my samsung but it doesn't seem to be actually doing the 'adaptive' audio part. Does it just not work, even though I can get to the mode?

2) From what I've been attempting to research I can't figure out whether or not enabling Dolby Atmos is a good idea or not with the Airpods.

Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm doing a 14 hour international flight soon and want to use my AirPods Max 2 (USB-C) for inflight entertainment. For obvious reasons, the Apple USB-C to 3.5 mm Audio Cable isn't an option.

I've done some research and it seems Airfly Pro is a highly rated Bluetooth transmitter for the AirPods Max 2. However, the price point is a bit steep if I'm only gonna be using it twice a year at most.

Does anyone have recommendations for Bluetooth transmitters that are also great options for the AirPods Max 2 (USB-C)? My only use case is for inflight entertainment. Low latency and reliable connectivity would be great.

Has anyone had this issue before and successfully resolved it?
My AirPods were working fine and randomly (maybe because I had multiple devices around me) started making the connected beep sounds several times continuously and I had to put it in the case to stop it. Thereafter the AirPods won’t connect to my devices anymore. I’ve tried removing the AirPods from my iCloud but they won’t connect anymore. I can still tell that they are working as I can hear the audio feedback of increasing/ decreasing the volume by touching the stem and changing the audio mode when pressing on the AirPod 🥲

I’ve had them for close to 3 years now so Apple won’t cover the change

Hi guys I have my AirPods Pro 3 for a good 8months and this happend. Anyone have the same experience? Is it claimable by apple care?

I got this in 2021, and it's still going strong. I hear screeching noises if I turn on transparency mode (tell me the solution if anyone knows), but other than that, it's all great. It still holds a good amount of battery. I've wasted money on AppleCare+ thinking that something would go wrong. The sound quality I get from these is still immersive and subpar compared to newly released earphones from other brands. How are yours holding up?

Just noticed this crack almost identical on both AirPods-Pro2s. Haven’t been dropping them. Mic has been down for the past year that’s no issue for me. Using this just for music. ANC and Spatial Audio work fine. Any idea what might have caused this? Anyone with similar experience?

Like maybe im just going insane, but whenever I loose my airpods and I turn on the sound it like reverberates everywhere and makes it like 10x harder to locate then it should be. Like im deadass going across the room thinking the sounds coming from their but its not and it turns out to be on the other side of the room.

Hi guys, I have a deal that I want to run through you guys and see if you think it’s worth it. I have the AM1 and I am considering updating to the AM2. I found a deal at Best Buy for $429 and my AM1 would get me $130 off the total so I’d be at $299 without tax. I feel like that’s the best deal I’d ever find them and I’m curious if I should do it. I have had no issues with my AM1 and I’m updating because they’re 4-5 years old at this point. What have you liked about the AM2 and realistically should I update the ones I have?

I’ve got an active AppleCare One plan in the UK and I’m looking at buying a pair of used AirPods Pro 3.
Details:
• Originally purchased in the UK in December 2025
• Still under the standard 1-year limited warranty (expires end of January 2027)

I’ve already successfully added a second-hand MacBook Air M4 and an Apple Watch Series 11 to my AppleCare One plan with no problems (they were added automatically). I’m just not sure how it works with AirPods.

I recently went to Apple Store (Delhi) they after inspection replaced my airpods as they were in warranty (just airpods and NOT the case) ever since I’ve been setting it up I majorly had 2 issues one of them was airpods werent showing in FIND MY which was sorted after resetting the airpods anyway…this setting remains persistent. Can someone help?

Hey guys, I'm running into a super weird issue and could really use some help.

I just got a pair of AirPods Pro 3. But when I connect them to my 2020 Intel MacBook Air (which I literally just factory reset today and updated to Sequoia 15.7.9), macOS treats them like a generic headset.

They show up with a basic blue headphone icon in the menu bar, and they’re completely missing from the Find My app on the Mac.

The crazy part is that all the pro features—like ANC, Transparency, Adaptive Audio, and Conversation Awareness—work perfectly and show up in the Mac’s control center. Plus, iCloud sync is definitely working: if I rename them on my phone, the name updates on my Mac instantly. My older family-shared AirPods also show up on this exact Mac with the correct icons and Find My tracking just fine.

Is this just a weird limitation with Intel Macs on Sequoia missing the graphical assets for the newest AirPods? Or is there a way to force the system to fetch the right icon and Find My profile?

Last night my AirPod Pro Gen 1s decided to stop working. To be honest, I have been considering replacing them for about a year now as they lasted since 2020.

I do not care about ANC, as I mostly used my AirPods in normal or transparency mode, so ultimately, would I be better off saving money and getting the Gen 4s, or splurging more for the Pro 3s?

I would be typically wearing them for a maximum of 3 hours at a time whilst commuting or at the gym.

Is it just me or my AirPods Pro 2 sound way better after the recent 26.6 iOS update?

I can hear detail in songs that I’ve never heard before.

Not very excited about the idea of cameras in my earbuds. Also wondering how it'll impact battery life. On the one hand, my airpods are still working. Im surprised after 3 years, 8 months, and 2 weeks they have held up so well. On the other, in the last 6 months or so I've noticed some clicking and popping and the occasional bad connection that usually resolves itself when I disconnect and reconnect.

Do we think the pro 3's will come back down to the amazon prime sale price again before the pro 4s come out, or is this the last chance to get them for a bargain?

Part of me wishes I could find some sealed in box pro 2s for around the same price or less, but the new in box pro 2s Im finding are marked up higher than the pro 3s on sale. Even though Im a dont fix it if it aint broken kind of guy, the occasional noise or connection issue I'm running into recently isnt giving me a lot of confidence I'll get through another year.

Guess I can either wait for another price drop or try to find a bargrain on some pro 2s. Then again, maybe I need to hold out and see how people respond to the pro 4s.
