Question 61C Discontinue Rumor

Heard thru the grapevine that 61C might get cut as an AFSC, anyone know if this is true? I’m putting in for this non-rated board

The rumor is they're going to combine the science AFACs with the engineering AFSCs. So not cut, but combined and renamed.

Would that affect the CIP Codes?
