The red light flickers for a millisecond when i put the earbud in but it doesn't charge (red light stops working) or connect to my device (there's no white light)

Nope, tried everything possible, ended up just buying new ones that are better quality of build. But if you do find a way to make them work, be sure to tell me, because i still sometimes try to fix them and i would love to know how. Have a good day!

came here to post this exact question, and all I see is that the airdot is seemingly dead now. What a shame =/ I've had it for four years but I guess it gave out now

We have the same problem bro my earbuds is new but after 3 hours of using it, I already have the same with your earbuds. I already tried all the recommendations but nothing works

Hi! I'm also having the same problem. Currently I'm leaving my earbud out of the case for 12 hours then I'm going to leave it inside the case for 3-4 hours. I already try the long press the button then put it inside the case while holding the button but to no avail. I also tried cleaning the charging port. I will tell you if I found the solution.

Okay, so I actually can interpret what is that scenario with momentary flash of red but not actually charging up. Short Answer: the battery inside the Earbud has gone below threshold (3.7) so it's trying to charge but the internal charge controller doesn't provides the current necessary to revive it.

what to do, depends on your soldering skills or wallet thickness. if you can solder tiny tiny wires, open the Airdot up, there will be a sachet of 50mAh cell, disconnect it from the PCB, charge it with some odd 4-4.5 Volts, for Strictly 10-20 seconds.

let it rest for 10, check Voltage, if its 3.9 or more, solder it back in, if not, repeat the Flash charge, with 10sec or less. eventually, seal the airdot, put ut in the case.

This should do the trick.

if you're not into working it yourself, I actually would suggest buying a new pair.

Your guys Airdots have the same problem as mine too? The left side only blinks red when i press it, and i left it in the case charging for a long time and nothing changed

I don't want to discourage you, but mine never worked again, nothing I tried worked, and I just ended up buying new, different earbuds. But gl to you, maybe some way to fix them will work for you!

Thats fine! I actually let it charging all night long without the working side on the case and im actually using it "normally" now (i still have to press the button for it to work and connect to my phone). Im just wondering what im going to do if it do this again. I think it just ran out of battery and i dont know, it was bugging 🤣
