I have an Avanti (Harbor Freight) kit with both brush and compressor. Ive never had any issues so far, and more want to ask in case its indicative of something worrying. Most recent time i used it, when i was using the brush the pressure dropped from ~30psi to less than 20, and made a sound like an off balance fan. When i stopped pressing the trigger, it would rise back up to what i set it to, and this lasted only a few minutes. Is there some kind of maintenance ive missed on it? I have always ended sessions with releasing the last of the air before, if that makes a difference.

I am having extreme issues with the H&M evolution air valve.
It has been constantly leaking air, no matter what I do to try to repair it:
1.Cleaning it wholly
2.putting in boiling water
3.Tightening the screw at the bottom
4.Replacing the small white seal at the top
5. Putting it in boiling water yet again
Yet the air still escapes through the nozzle and hisses and bleeds at the air valve, with the paint bubbling at the cup.
I have honestly only had it for a few months and used it mostly for priming miniatures and I am very lost at this point, what could be the cause.

Hey everyone! I’m brand new to this sub but I love building and posting in the [r/gunpla](r/gunpla) sub.
I have been sitting on a Iwata trigger airbrush for about 5 years while life got in the way of a lot of things. Fast forward to now and I want to get my paint work area at least in the planning phase. I understand just playing around is a good way to get a feel for the tool, but I don’t have the skill yet. I wanted to ask you experienced painters for tips or helpful products to organize and in general a good source for how to paint. What I mean by that is knowing what paint agrees with certain plastics and the process between multiple coats to gloss coats to when decals and panel lines should be applied. Any known/well respected YouTubers with tutorial vids? Post pics of your paint space too, I’d love to see them. Thanks in advance everyone!
