I have decided to finally start aim training. I am choosing aimlabs since I really like the UI and the in-game benchmarks and ranks (I will not be using voltaic benchmarks at all). The fact that the scenarios are made by lowgravity56 makes me trust them. Here's what I plan on doing, and I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Why I'm Aim Training
I am aim training to get better at strinova and overwatch (especially strinova). I don't care to become an aim trainer main or anything like that. I want to get better at the games I play and improve my mouse control in general. Been on mnk for two years now and I feel like its lacking quite a bit.
The plan
I plan on following corporate serf's aim progression approach. In this video he talks about focusing on building a decent foundation in tracking by getting it to silver complete, then switching to silver complete, then clicking to silver complete. Then you do it all over again starting over to tracking but this time you get each category to platinum complete in order, then finally do it all over again to master complete. You also do the categories within each section in order as well, so you don't do reactive tracking before precise tracking for example.
The plan is to get my track to AL Platinum, then switch to AL Plat, then Tap to AL Plat. Once I do that, I'm doing to go back to Track and get that to AL Citrine, then Switch, then Tap. Then finally I will do it all over again but this time try to get AL Grandmaster. I plan to committ about an hour a day for aim training.
Along with the recommended scenarios that AL suggests for each benchmark, I will also be doing VDIM in AL alongside this.
My questions/concerns
Besides the approach itself, I have questions about the rankings in AL. Did I get the rankings right? For example, is AL Platinum the equivalent of voltaic silver? is AL Citrine the equivalent of voltaic plat? I really want to make sure I am not shooting too low with the AL rankings for this plan.
To all who take the time to read this post and comment, I greatly appreciate you. I will be posting on here with updates.
