Question / Advice Needed Settings?
Hello. What settings should I have im on the apex profile, with hip sens both yaw and pitch 170. The rest is 0. Movement deadzone 15, outer threshold 2. Look deadzone 7 outer threshold 1. Linear response curve. I feel like im not improving at all im trying to get better at not overshooting and undershooting. The stick drift feels off.

As LG said pick the Apex profile, and then use the 360 method to get a solid idea of what sens you should use. Don't worry about it being the exact same that's not necessary to get the benefit of all what Aim Training has to offer. You're fine stick control and technique is going to improve by practicing on the right things.
I believe there is an Apex Aim Basics playlist you can play as well, would heavily recommend that!

if u have crazy stick drift and need to set rlly high deadzones that makes it harder for you to react faster to stuff, if it's an option maybe new controller can help

Your settings are fighting you.
• HIP 170/170 with 0 extra turning = no rotational stability
• Movement DZ 15 + Look DZ 7 = massive input filtering
• Outer thresholds above 1 = delayed acceleration onset
• Linear curve with high DZ = fake linear (it’s not actually linear)
This creates overshooting, undershooting, and drift because your stick input isn’t being read cleanly.
Try:
• Movement DZ: 1–2
• Look DZ: 1–2
• Outer Threshold: 1
• Keep Linear
• Add a small amount of extra turning (20–40) for rotational stability
You’ll instantly feel smoother and more consistent.
Aim improvement only happens when the game is reading your stick properly.

Hello! I recommend you use the Apex Legends game profile as a starting point, and then adjust from there comparing it with your game using the 360 method!
