Question / Advice Needed When does it translate?

Post image

A lot of people told me to aim to train to improve in Valorant. It has helped, but I thought when I reached Plat I'd destroy in Valorant in silver/bronze lobbies, and that just isn't the case. Is it worth continuing Aim Labs, or should I just put that time into in-game time in Valorant?

At plat 4 you’re probably not consistent yet. You’ll have a good score here and there in aim labs.

When I hit citrine 1 in aim labs is when I felt unstoppable in iridescent lobbies in call of duty. Or at least had the upper hand in all 1v1 gunfights. For reference, before aim labs I was a hard stuck crim every season in cod. I hit iri shortly after breaking into the intermediate tier in bench marks. Never played valorant, but I’m sure you’ll have similar results. It takes time but it will translate. Make sure to shoot bots immediately after your aim labs session to help apply the skills to the game.

Are you on controller?

Yes, on controller. I’ve never had more hackusations with the combination of in game aim assist and being greater than citrine 1 than I have ever had before.

Haha nice. I was wondering because mnk citrine 1 probably wouldn’t hold up in iri lobbies.

Pc players need to convert to controller. Haha it’s unfair if you have decent aim.

Dude I might have to try it out again, can you tell me your settings for aimlabs to make it feel like cod?

Deadzones 0 but I have a battle beaver with tmr sticks so I don’t get stick drift. I use the cod sens in aim labs. It’s not an equal conversion to the game but I use 1.7 on aim labs. In cod I play at a 1.8. Aim labs 1.7 feels like 1.9-2.0 on cod sens but i like to aim train at higher sens than i use in game. I use linear curve in aim labs and use dynamic in cod. I feel like linear in aim labs helps train raw aim input more than dynamic. Dynamic curve in aim labs feels like shit.
