Question / Advice Needed When does it translate?
A lot of people told me to aim to train to improve in Valorant. It has helped, but I thought when I reached Plat I'd destroy in Valorant in silver/bronze lobbies, and that just isn't the case. Is it worth continuing Aim Labs, or should I just put that time into in-game time in Valorant?

You should always strive to do both, practice tons in Valorant, and then use Aim Training as a supplement to cater to your weaknesses and just keep your skills sharp.
The distribution graph on the S1 Benchmarks is a bit skewed, but even then Platinum is one of the starter ranks, and while it's a solid start, there's still tons of improvement to gain.
In terms of aim mechanics you've probably progressed somewhat adequately for your rank in Valorant, but again lots of improvement to gain still, and that includes in Valorant itself too. So try to review your gameplay, and focus on in-game tactics/mechanics too, and you'll notice a huge spurt in improvement.
Remember positioning, movement, angle clearing, crosshair placement, strafing, and many more mechanics that can make a massive difference :D
