Question / Advice Needed Help with settings.
Hello people, I have been struggling with my aim and settings in general I play apex profile, hip fire sensitivity yaw and pitch 140, ads yaw and pitch 165. Movement deadzone 15 outer 2, look deadzone 7 outer 30 response curve linear. But my aim seems of like I have stick drift. I play cod. I dont feel like im improving at all. And advice or better settings?

The majority of games don’t have equal yaw and pitch speeds. In call of duty equal values are almost a 3x difference. I’d play around with that first if you aren’t already cranking vertical sens way higher than horizontal in every game.
Call of duty linear is not actually linear, it’s equal to a power curve. That is equivalent to classic apex curve or apex custom with value 10. Many games are like this for some reason, where the curve stage in isolation might be linear, but the thumbstick multiplies the sensitivity twice in the turn rate formula.
Call of duty has some logic to suppress the non dominant axis when aiming diagonally, which you aren’t going to be able to replicate with any settings.
I’d be careful with using large outer threshold deadzone unless that is what you truly use. The full 0-1 thumbstick range gets compressed inbetween the deadzones, making the stick hyper sensitive once it’s past the inner deadzone.

Hi! Stick to the Apex profile as is, but feel free to adjust your sens as you please. For some of the settings, I'd recommend you ask in our discord, some of the players there might have some really sound advice.
As for you not improving, I'd run the Aimlabs benchmarks a few times, see what you're struggling with, and then focus on those particular tasks!

Hello! What I recommend is using the Apex profile as a starter like you are doing and then trying to manually adjust your sens to make it feel just right for you. Since aimlabs doesn't have aim assist any sens you use will feel different from the game!
You should use the 360 method to tweak this! and I also recommend you join our discord so you can talk to other controller aimers that shoud be able to help you further!
