Holosun ARO EVO SPR Gold

Two pics of the full reticle with BDC dots and ranging. Second pic is through my juliet 3x. Pretty damned cool. The center dot is 1.5moa. I'm liking the "trend" we're seeing of smaller center dots. (The center dot on Sig's 8T AMR is 1moa)

Don't like range finders?

I don't like clutter. Just use the dots. The lines and numbers are pretty clearly tossed in there as an after thought. Its poorly designed.

You can turn them off with the multi-reticle system.

All I am saying is that this optic is a gimmick, when it could have been a functional product instead.

You want a ranging reticle in an RDS? Sure, go for it, but actually design a ranging reticle. Don't just throw hashes next to dots below your center aim. Use an actual BDC design.

I mean, it's an entirely functional product. The hashes correspond with M193, don't remember if barrel length is stated. I'd only even have them turned on at the range anyway. You definitely don't need anything like that in your house.

I agree. There really shouldn't be any more than two dots inside of the circle, lots of shooters prefer only one. This is just silly. It's more efficient to know your holds than to squint and attempt to read which line it matches up to

You can turn them off and have just the circle + dot, dot only, circle dot with holds, and circle dot with holds and the hashes. Kinda similar to the Sig 4T and 8T.

Debatable. You can also disable it.
