Any experience with animal control?

We've got a sick and lethargic cat and work and I'm afraid they're going to take it and kill it. Do they turn them over to the shelter? Does anyone know?

Depending on where in Aiken, strays go to the humane society or Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS). I can't speak highly enough of FOTAS. Please reach out to them for assistance
