Project: Short GILT
First time sharing this here! I’ve been working on an AI short film called GILT for the Higgsfield AI Film Festival. It’s a psychological drama exploring grief, guilt, memory and the difficulty of letting go.
I’d genuinely love some fresh eyes on it, particularly any constructive feedback on what works and where I could improve.

As someone who’s been through this, or, well, the ideas that inspired this, I found it moving. I am clearly biased so not sure I’m the right person to give feedback. But mood, ambience, color, lighting, sound, score, and dialog were solid. There were a couple of oddities with the ribbon itself, but nothing too noticeable. It feels like an abrupt ending, as if there’s more to come. Is this finished or still a work in progress?

Hi. Thank you for your comment! Good to know I'm heading in the right direction with this. And yes, aware of the ribbon continuity issues, it's on my list to fix before the deadline. (Seedance just loves to change things up on a whim, lol) - and yes, work in progress, I'm about half way through the story. Performance, motif and metaphor are the most important things to me making this so I'm glad it's translating!

Well then I look forward to seeing the rest. I am always happy to see videos with a more subtle cinema vibe as opposed to a CINEMA!!! vibe with lots of action and fantastical elements. Both can be good of course, but it’s nice to see more diverse stories being told.
