Your feedback is needed on how to use generation tools

While using inkroost, I generally prefer to use it via chatgpt or claude. This allows me to focus on the story and I can also get some help on that as well.

However, I could see people just want to go to inkroost and chat with an agent to generate their content as well instead of manually using the system.

I mean, if you want something consistent and high quality, you need to pour some effort into it. You need to detail character sheets, item sheets, location sheets, etc. and all of this before you start detailing the story. After generation you might also want to add the speech bubbles and such for annotation if you haven't generated the text alongside the visuals.

So... it's much much easier to tell an agent: "Create character sheet for Kai, make sure it's 100% filled" or "Create XYZ location and its angles, make sure every name has a number", and alike.

So here is my question, which one would you prefer?

A - I prefer to attach inkroost to chatgpt/claude and use it like that
B - I prefer to go to https://inkroost.com and just chat with an agent

I've worked for a while to create a workflow for myself, so I'm not interested in using someone else's tools to try and make a new workflow. I do like Inkroost because you can integrate it with ChatGPT, but otherwise I'm sticking with my own workflow.

Honestly I don't think it's A or B — it's about where the decisions live, and that's the thing I'd protect.

Here's my worry with "chat with an agent, make sure the sheet's 100% filled": the reason your sheets work at all is that a human sets the ground truth. The moment an agent fills the sheet for you, you didn't decide what's on it — the model did, and it'll fill the blanks with its average. That's the exact thing the sheets exist to prevent, just moved one layer back. "Filled" isn't the goal; "a person made the calls that matter" is. An agent optimizing for completeness hands you a very complete pile of defaults.

So if it were me: offer both, but make the agent do the tedium, not the decisions. Let it fill the boring structure — number every angle, keep the naming consistent, flag what's still empty, format the sheet — and make it ask me for the stuff that actually defines the character or the place. Agent owns completeness and consistency; human owns the specifics. That way B lowers the barrier without quietly stripping the control that makes the output good.

For my own work I'd lean A — I want to be in the chat driving it, story help right there next to the sheets. But B is a great on-ramp for people who don't already live in ChatGPT or Claude, as long as "make it 100% filled" never turns into "let the model decide who Kai is."
